Wish i seen this thread earlier.

+plus the GT230M can stably be OC to 127% - minus 1 RAM slot, cause it broke a few months ago, so i'm only on 4GB RAM (painful :( ) and also know idea if the bluray works on it, i never used it and beginning december its gonna be 6 years since i have this laptop :o

Only spent a few bucks on a 4GB RAM slot, and 2 replacement keyboards (the previous ones were never allergic to alcoholic drinks but they got d3s by hot ginger tea  thank my bro for that)  Only paid for 1 keyboard but got 2 thanks to the ebay retailer noobing out on the delivery  :D oh and i spent on thermal paste and glue to fix one of the speaker diaphragm which detached partly due to high load, but did not get ripped off like any other would  :o .  Also got an extended replacement battery 3 years ago and it only died just a week ago

So the post purchase bill for after 6 year is really nothing !! I could get another 4GB RAM, but for that i'll need to fix the broken slot but i don't wanna attempt that for fear of losing the 2nd slot in the process, but as soon as i get a new pc / laptop you can bet my next purchase will be a fine soldering kit  ;)

As for next purchase, well idk, if i'm still admin on tanki by the time unity tanki goes out, then i'll definitely get a new thing cause i wanna game full res, full graphics, 60+ fps.  The fattest laptop from ROG will do, though they don't wanna make 18+ inch monsters anymore :( (i'm not afraid of size and weight)  However though, I might go back to building my own rig, i do miss the geeky fiddling of things and OC'ing

I use a little glass box with a polychromic spell encased inside.  We call it a module.  The display is a flat black panel with a monochromic hybrid spell spread over the surface.  It takes three unicorns to make a computer kit!
