Safe mode for young players.

Recommended Posts

My sister started playing TO recently and I'm worried about her because there are a lot of players swear and say really bad words in chat rooms. I don't want her to see any bad word. I turn the chat off, but I'm afraid she can find a way to enable it in future. My idea is to set a password up for some functions. For example, if she tries to enable it, it should ask for the password. I'm sure it would be better for young players and their parents.

Another side, some really bad words aren't censored, so they have to be censored as soon as possible, there are fairly much young players here getting insulted by other. How can parents trust this game?

the problem with this is that if this is implemented people insted of using **** will use * * * * insted there are so many ways around this what they realy need is a better player reporting player system

How about changing the password on her and when she want's to play, type it in and then let her play

You must not be a 90s kid...

Lol, they pretty much only censored the word that starts with a f.

How do you know? :P

I think it's a nice idea. But even when chat is turned off, you can prsss enter and see the whole chat...

She is going to be more interested if I tell her to stay away from the chat.

Okay then do not tell her anything about it. She will probably find theres a chat eventually, since there is a huge bar on the left, but for now just have her play.

Automatically ban after you posted a swear

They should do that, but again, they'll find ways to post it without a ban. *facepalm*
