Unfairness in Tanki events

Recommended Posts

I don't understand why people always take me as an "example". It's absolutely not true that I came in first. I don't know about and how he got in, but I was waiting on the same server as everyone else and watched news coming from @TankiOnlineSpectator while you all were busy talking with each other on the main chat.

Tho I agree that administrators should make better organization of all kind of events so we don't have to wait so long to join them.

And trust me, moderators don't want to risk to lose their jobs for inviting friends.

Always same people in. Ok i understand, they "have fast internet and computer", but still, they are all gissimos for like 1 year or more, they are full of crystals and everything, yet they can be on every event, other that have "worse internet and computer" can never get in (which on it's own is unfair) and can never get crystals from it. There should be a limit (i have no idea how to do that tho), that idk you can join 2 events per month or something. This is only a suggestion, but think about it!

Agreed but surely the staff should be respected. They make this game work in harmony. If they want their friends in then that's up to them. If people like these events so much, how about you write to @Yele and ask her nicely if she could help arrange more of these to give more players the chance to play. If not, I'll do it for you?

If the Queen went and murdered 20 people (ok, so that escalated but still), we wouldn't not speak out because she's the Queen. If staff want to battle with their friends, they can make a battle and invite them to it. in this situation, when an event like this has been advertised to the whole community, I feel that staff's friends having an unfair advantage for that sole reason is exactly that, unfair. And making more events would not solve the problem necessarily. The number of 'famous' players in the battle and the number of these battles aren't proportional.

I doubt the staff would have done that. Anyway, the hundreds of people waiting, only a few will get in. That's how it's got to be.

That's not the point .-. In this case, of the hundreds of people waiting, the 'few' that will get in will have had an unfair advantage over others.

Once again the most fair way for this to happen:

When the event is announced

Tell the Time of it

Server

Person Who will post link

Why do this? To ensure that no one will say oh you sent the battle link to certain others

Well, I do agree on it.

However, what lordmostafa and TankiOnlineSpectator said was partly true.

I really don't get that - when we refreshed the FB page, there was no new post. Kept on refreshing until a post was there, having the link in it. But no, there wasn't any. How do you explain that?

Blame it on Facebook, the delay is on FB part not ours. :)

Though I just saw, there was a link on Tanki's FB page's Photos tab. With a photo of "Staff vs Players".

Yes Good Idea

The Link is posted IN CHAT

and says the nickname of the person who will post link in chat

As for the link being handed out under the table, we can assure you that nothing of the sort took place.

Hmm. Of course, you honestly can't prove this. Any of the members of staff playing could've invited their friends in-game, and, even if you claim you can detect this, there is no way that you can detect them messaging the battle link to others in Skype for example, before the link is actually aired. From staff members which were in the battle (who will remain unnamed), I've heard two accounts of a player who joined the battle seconds before the link was officially aired.

TANKI ONLINE STAFF IS FAIR. I WAITED FOR THIS EVENT FOR 10 DAYS. BUT AT THE END COULDN'T JOIN BECAUSE OF LOW LEVEL AND IT WAS FULL. I DON'T CARE . ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. IF I HAD GONE IN THE BATTLE THEN THOSE WHO WOULDN'T GO WOULD SAY THE SAME THING AS YOURS. SO HAVE SPORTSMANSHIP AND DON'T BLAME OTHERS!
