Thoughts on Drug Emphasis in Tanki

okay. first off this is all my personal opinion and it doesn't have to be the same as yours, i'm obligated to my opinion as you are to yours.

 

lately i've been noticing that with almost every update tanki puts out, the more emphasis the put on using the items (or drugs as most call them) now i personally am not a buyer, never bought any crystals in this game and never had the capability to do so even if i wanted to buy in the first place. all my crystals are earned through battles in the game or the occasional daily bonus. i've had 2 accounts, and have been playing in tanki since about 2010, 1 year after it was created if i'm not mistaken. the longer time went by the more i noticed that many people instead of just playing by skill with what they had, would immediately turn on all items and keep doing so every time they respawn until the battle ends just to get a better spot on the scoreboard. we've all done it, even myself at times, so don't think i'm a saint and never have drugged in this game, because i'm not. anyway, the more time went on, the worse it got. and now i believe it's reached it's worse point. look i'm probably gonna get alot of hate for saying this, but i honestly wish drugs would be taken out of tanki entirely. will that happen? most likely not, it makes tanki too much money because now the game is almost entirely populated by mad buyers. at the very least i wish they could put some kind of limitation on the effectiveness of drugs and how often a player can use them in a single battle. look i'm all for more interesting battles, and power ups are certainly a way to do that, but...well let me explain my major issues. 1. each can have and infinite amount of drugs anywhere from 100 to 100,000 possibly more. shouldn't their be some sort of limit? i think 1,000 or 2,000 of each item is more then enough for the average tanker. 2. while smart cool downs seem like a good idea limiting the amount of spamming of drugs in game can occur, what good are they when they go in and mark the drop zones of drugs? it eliminates the purpose, and no it's not skillful to go underneath a clearly marked drop zone of a specific item pick said item up and call it "lucky" if they weren't marked and whatever item dropped was completely random, THEN i might consider that "skill". 3. while drugs give an advantage to some lesser skilled players who just want a decent score, the players who have played hours on end and threw away their time to make some kind of progression are completely frowned upon. isn't the point of tanki to make progression?  highly skilled tankers who spend hours upon hours trying their best to get a decent score with what they  have, not having to rely on drugs are interrupted by constant non stop druggers, it turns into and absolute drug war forcing the skilled players to drug as well, because the minute they try to attack, they get killed instantly therefore making the entire time they were in the game, all the points and kills they earned meaningless. somebody's gotta win and somebody's gotta lose i get that. but to have the undeserving win and the ones who actually deserve and earned the win lose is just so off putting to me. again, i'm not expecting a big response from this, in fact i'm probably gonna get alot of hate for even discussing something like this. what's the solution? well either get rid of the drugs entirely (which obviously will never happen) limit the amount of items a single player can obtain, or how about this make pro battles a battling type selection in the battle creator! i've heard talk of tanki putting in an option in the battle creator to turn off smart cool downs. however pro battles still cost crystals to play, why should it cost players crystals to get a better in game experience? that makes no sense, just make PRO battles and option in the battle creator like it will be to turn off smart cool downs. it's a simple solution and wouldn't make tanki lose any less money. okay i'm gonna spot ranting now. again guys this is my opinion only, i'm obligated to it. don't automatically hate me because mine is different then yours, all pure hate comments (if i get any comments) will be completely ignored. just though i'd put my opinion out there.

Hello, sir. First of all, I'd like to say that all feedback is welcomed here, so  developers care about your feedback.

Your suggestion seems fairly logical, but I don't think developers even gonna remove supplies out of the game permanently, but there should definitely be some changes. Please place your suggestion here, so developers can see and take your suggestion into consideration. This section is for technical issues only.

Supplies are needed for many different reasons. If they were removed, TO would suffer a major deterioration. I'm not going against your thoughts when I say this, but its the truth. Also, please make topics like this here or here. This section on the forum is mainly for technical issues.

You are somewhat right , but supplies cannot be removed from tanki , it profits tanki as well as its players....as buyers buy lots and lots of supplies...

 

Well if you think that this is wrong and supplies must be removed..

So you should discuss it in the Ideas and Suggestions thread
