I remember when the only turrets and hulls I was seeing were: Smoky, RailGun, Firbird,

btw, I also think that the notorious re-balance was the breaking point, from which the game began sliding down with ever increasing speed ...

 

most of the reasonable and experienced players quit back then, leaving room for kids and noobs - the result of this downgrade is visible today in any battle you join.

 

If the Unity version gets realized the way it was hinted in the Russian forum (and here as well), then we can really forget abt TO once and for all !

I liked it back then how, the Shaft (and Mammoth?) was the end tank in game... Now I see shafts at least half of my games...

I just want to draw your attention to one thing, guys. 

 

As Hazel said, it hasn't been decided yet whether current progress will be moved to the new version of Tanki or not. It's too early to tell. It will all depend on the economical system of the new game. And it's still being developed by Hazel and other game designers. 

 

When it is finished, rest assured we'll announce it in the forums and video blogs.

 

Guys, let me make one thing very clear — NOBODY intends to spit into players' faces. It will either be a complete transfer of current progress, or as many goodies as possible for old players. You guys helped Tanki get to where it is today, so we will not let you down. Rest assured. 

 

My humble analysis:

"In case they will manage to make the new UNITY game parameters to match with the old flash based one, then they will be able to transfer your accounts to the new one without losing your achievements

 

But in case the developers will find it so hard to make unity match with the old game's parameters, then they will stay with 2 Tanki versions, one with FLASH and another with UNITY, until either they will manage to make it possible to transfer your accounts or not.. because they refuse to reset the Garage as it will cause them a financial crisis... 

 

..If 2 versions of the game will remain then logically that one with flash based will get less and less attention and more bugs unless if they will assign some developers to take care of the old flash based browser tanki game  , at the same time don't forget that many players as well may prefer to stick with the old version one because it requires less PC benchmarks, despite the one with UNITY looks awesome !!

 

I hope they will be able to transfer our accounts and progress to the UNITY platform and to make it optional .. but until now things are not clear and their words are not so encouraging ... specially what HAZEL had said"

Tanki unity is much better then TO flash they've been doing privet testing in the test servers I was in the test server in the private testing for TO unity today and it is awesome

The future of Tanki is dim.  Since Premium accounts were announced Tanki has given almost as much priority from Buyers to Pros.  If they want to make Tanki pay to win there is no need to ruin the current game that many people have spent time and money on.  Put it in the new game maybe, just don't ruin the old game.

Have you noticed that the VLogs have been very quiet on Tanki X lately (I have not seen this week's)

 

Personally I am saving for the May sale. It wil be here before you know it, and this will be the first time I am truly expecting 50% off on all turrets and hulls.

What do you guys think about them?

Me, personally, I think they are "interesting" to say the least - however I don't think they should be in the game. Tanki online is supposed be a tank game, with mechanics at least remotely similar -  these would turn it into a morphing, flying vehicle with quantum duplicates. I don't like them and wonder what it will do to tanki.
