So there will be tanki online, on the IPhone! :D That's cool! Also will there be a mode to just have one life like World of Tanks and then spectate the rest of the players? If that happens that would be awesome!

What is the point of discussing this, may I ask? Pointless discussions lead to nothing. Ever thought about WHY the tanki changed? before the game was fine, with small updates to fix some bugs and make the gameplay smoother and fairer. Ever since rebalance, things haven't been the same at all. looking back to economics change, I see it only as an EXCUSE made by the developers to reduce the fund. They said that the economics change would increase the funds for those lower in the score chart, while in fact it reduced the fund in general, giving less fund for those lower AND higher in the chart. The first people to complain or to see any significance, or anyone who noticed this was BANNED! Devs didn't increase the fund back up to 80% because they thought that it was unfair, oh no; they did this so that YOU would stop complaining! And now they've even made a RULE to prevent you from complaining about the fund in future. Mass control leads to little liberty. To summarize, the game went from fairly free game to a fascist monitoring and dictating game. Believe me (no, don't believe me, THINK for yourselves), if we all were to stop playing the game completely, right now, the devs would start to give us all kinds of goods for free just so we would continue playing; which is EXACTLY what they did when they gave out double funds twice a week or so!

 

So how about instead of discussing "Past and Future TankiOnline" we were to discuss "Why did tanki go from what it was and what it is now". Because honestly, in terms of gameplay, there was no need for rebalances and all that kind of stuff. Think, people! Dig deep ;) while you still can...

Uhm... interesting point of view. Yes, you said a lot of truth things but... That's the world! Developers and programmers don't live of love, they don't eat love, like everybody here I think. In those years they went more hungry for money? YES! Sure, this game is growing up in players numbers so maximise the introits of the game is a natural step. new players=new servers=new costs. For now they can do that. They made MICRO UPGRADES, new weapons, they turned good kits in expansive and useless kits (1'000 drugs kit one time costed 100'000. Now 1'200 how much? ;D), they made "elite tank" (ahahah the man who thought that was a genius, seriusly)!!That's a pay2win game. Everybody know it, u can accept it or play another interesting game... I thing it is called... uhm.. life? Sorry, also life is a pay2win game! ;D

We,most of us,have been here for the past 3-4 years,and we miss the old times,but most of old players leaving will result in new big masses of players coming,and they dont feel nostalgia for old times,thus they dont really care about the past,so they want the game to be new and fresh..The number of players have been growing and growing,this means more profit,but more people to satisfy..The bigger mass is growing with new players,and they want the game to look like just taken out the oven..Devs add more and more features,hoping to satisfy players..Game must go forward,not stop,or else,players would leave,and Tanki would turn into Battlefield Heroes 

Now,in my opinion,changing graphics IS NOT THAT GOOD IDEA..Why? Because this game was originally built for unrellistic fun,not like WoT .. Graphics make it look more nad more reallistic (as much as they could) ,but simply distract from the basic cream of the game,the unrealism..I mean,look at the old graphics,they look nothing to the future ones..As i said,Devs improve the game so new players wont be bored,but in my opinion,this game shall stay low requieremnts when talking about graphics/features..I dont think a second WoT wouldn`t be that great looking :-) ( WoT as much as possible,plasma weapons are not that reallistic)

same as me.  although i got my account hacked due to an easy password and not linking it to my email,  i missed the predictable golds (every 700 fund) and the time where everyone got like 5000 cry for a week because the gap in coding was closed meaning the ban of nearly all hackers.  :(

With the full version, you're able to give up and downvotes.

There is a point with using the mobile version. Full version on a mobile device lags a lot. Or maybe just on some, but still...

I just want to draw your attention to one thing, guys. 

As Hazel said, it hasn't been decided yet whether current progress will be moved to the new version of Tanki or not. It's too early to tell. It will all depend on the economical system of the new game. And it's still being developed by Hazel and other game designers. 

When it is finished, rest assured we'll announce it in the forums and video blogs.

Guys, let me make one thing very clear — NOBODY intends to spit into players' faces. It will either be a complete transfer of current progress, or as many goodies as possible for old players. You guys helped Tanki get to where it is today, so we will not let you down. Rest assured. 

 

My humble analysis:

"In case they will manage to make the new UNITY game parameters to match with the old flash based one, then they will be able to transfer your accounts to the new one without losing your achievements

 

But in case the developers will find it so hard to make unity match with the old game's parameters, then they will stay with 2 Tanki versions, one with FLASH and another with UNITY, until either they will manage to make it possible to transfer your accounts or not.. because they refuse to reset the Garage as it will cause them a financial crisis... 

 

..If 2 versions of the game will remain then logically that one with flash based will get less and less attention and more bugs unless if they will assign some developers to take care of the old flash based browser tanki game  , at the same time don't forget that many players as well may prefer to stick with the old version one because it requires less PC benchmarks, despite the one with UNITY looks awesome !!

 

I hope they will be able to transfer our accounts and progress to the UNITY platform and to make it optional .. but until now things are not clear and their words are not so encouraging ... specially what HAZEL had said"

TO Flash will remain alongside with TO Unity. How long will it remain is up to players.

Developers are still working on the unity version of the game, so we don't dispose of this information. There are a lot of unreliable rumors nowadays into which we shouldn't go too deeply.
