Smoky VS. Thunder

But in your view you neglect the ability of making critical hits by smoky. So I think splash of thunder and critical hits of smoky make both the turrets quite balanced.

I took critical hits into account when calculating damage .-.

Thunder is why I am where I am today! but it aint easy with M2 Hornet and M2 thunder your mainly a target to get killed with one shot from a rail,shaft, or just a firebird or snow blower. A smoky will blow you away! and they flip over from a hit. :rolleyes:

why i prefer thunder cuz its cheap i mean rly cheap m3 smoky costs about 250k m3 thunder 180k (or something like that) and also cuz you can unlock it early you have an advantage and also some battles with thunder m1

quite right :P but my personal is thunder cuz

 

1.unlocks early and good price

2.i do so well with this thats why i like it

3.the gun requires some skill to use :)

why is the M2 so good? it's parameter's don't improve drastically, and an M3 smoky's damage is more or less a M0 thunder's, I like both turrets a lot but there's nothing like the feeling of five tanks all blowing up at once because of splash :P

You can't MU Smoky's reload. It just improves slightly when you upgrade other parameters.

That's sort of what I mean. Although the difference is noticeable when you meet a microed Smoky.

I used to love thunder with all my heart, used it all the time, even before the rebalance in december 2012. But ever since I got smoky m2 and then m3, I fell in love with it. Enemies miss you all the time! Knockback of it is just insane! And the fact that you can kill hornet m3 with critical with double power means you can pretty much destroy anything around you.

It's matter of choice; smoky for drug battles, thunder for normal gameplay

I do thunder for drug battle and smoky for pro :D

I prefer to use both; but if I was forced to attain one, I would take Smoky.
