 your screen suddenly changes to show some noob catching a stupid gold box. What if I was just about to make an awesome shot with railgun across the map and the screen freezes just as I was lining up, making me miss. I would be extremely mad.

Many players don't care about the gold or the one who catches it. There's no point distracting others from the game when the gold box is taken as it will be really annoying when you try to concentrate on the gameplay and your screen suddenly changes to show some noob catching a stupid gold box. What if I was just about to make an awesome shot with railgun across the map and the screen freezes just as I was lining up, making me miss. I would be extremely mad.

Gold box catchers get enough recognition already, having their name displayed on the top of everyone's screens. They don't need anything else.

I totally agree, and these recent updates about Gold Boxes have been done so as to keep gameplay moving, and make the Gold Box as little a distraction as possible. Here you suggest that gameplay stop altogether! As said above, some players don't even care who the heck gets a thousand crystals, when if they stay focused, they might just get it at the end of their battle if they stay focused!

Valid Point.. I totally Agree .Hmm Better not change view for all. Just the Gold Collector Only View Change 360 Degree and immune (GodMode) for 3 Seconds Soo that he wont Die For 360 view Change :P (While he enjoy his View or Take Snap Or Video Etc)

You can't stop time for everyone else while the gold box catcher watches his gold replay. Either everyone will have to wait, or the catcher will be "paused" and useless while he watches the replay. The only way I see this being fair is if you have two things: 1 - an option to turn off the replay in the settings; 2 - turning off the replay by pressing the escape key. Nobody else will see the replay, except for the catcher.

Golds just a distraction from the game even though it is shiny and holds 1k crystals, all the suggested ideas seem pretty pointless since some people don't care about gold.

Yes even I am shocked to see many don't like gold Box ... 

 

From all the major points i see that all are trying to say remove Gold Box (Distraction , spoil game etc)

Because you are of a low rank (and possibly age, but let's not get into that). On low ranks you are mostly interested in getting crystals, hence the gold box is very important for you. Higher ranks already have the necessary M3 equipment to play, so they prioritise on the gameplay, rather than the gold box, therefore for them it's already enough of a distraction and the "matrix view" or more gold boxes will only make the situation worse.

+1, I agree, right now I think Gold Boxes are cool, but I also think that my team goes nuts trying to take the Gold, but not focusing on the game, so sometimes I take it just for fun, or sometimes I just take the opportunity to take a flag behind their backs. ;) B) Or I just ignore it.
