If you can see better, people who made something by their hands got more prizes than people who done things on photoshop. If that contest really meant so much to you, you could make tanks out of paper, draw something, make something interesting. This is a hard work and it's much more appreciated by developers.

then why did so much worthy entries got pushed aside

comon be more logical they didnt got any consolation prize as well

Nobody is forcing you to participate. These contests are more like a favor to players. I am sure developers don't enjoy looking over hundreds or thousands entries every week. They do this to make you guys happy and give you a chance of winning.

 

 

correction - i am sure they are not doing a favor to us. it is all business tactics. to keep players interested in these things. and please enough with this "giving a chance to win"

I ranked up by mistake and I wanted to rank down before it to make the rank up party I planned but tanki help deck refused to help me... Now I miss this prize too :( Can I please rank down to make the rank up as I planned before?

If Semyon is a community manager, it doesn't mean that he is doing all this work alone. Have some understanding, it's not easy.

High quality footage doesn't mean recording from spectator mode. It means recording with a good recording software with all effects on and if possible putting some extra effects in editor.

To be honest, this is the goal of every game. To keep players active and entertained. I guess it would be much better for them to stop wasting their time on these contests, as there are many ungrateful people, and go on vacation like all normal people.

Partly they do. I know this because I have my own contests on Rent-A-Spec topic where I pay them 30k,20k and 10k every week. I don't get any profit from this, yet it makes me happy to see other players happy.

In the psychology, we have a formula that says: Work hard=Earn much=Work hard later=Earn more later

 

That's what make us disappointed,this is not about reward which players didn't take it, that's about psychology harms of this kind of actions. :) Hope dear developers get what i wanted to say.

Besides the festive decorations in the game, we also have a New Year rank up effect. And this definitely calls for a New Year Rank Up contest!

 

Make a video featuring you or your friend hitting a new rank with the New Year rank up effect. Edit the video, upload it to YouTube and send it to us via this special form.

 

Rules:

• The rank up effect should be a New Year one.
• Your video must not be longer than 30 seconds.
• Specify the nicknames of all members in the team. There can be a maximum of 5 tankers in a team.

We are looking for something spectacular, shot in high-quality footage.

 

There can be any number of winners, and they will be selected by a jury of developers.

 

Prizes:

• 200 000 crystals and 200 of each supply per team

Dates:

• Entries are accepted till 9 am UTC on January 12
• Winners will be announced and awarded prizes on January 15

or they are ruining our christmas as they announced the contest we were making postcards trying different ways to make it better. i myself never used photo shop and all and i never draw a sketch but i did this time. instead of going out with my family i had this fake hope "there can be any winners" that i might win. and i didnt so all the get to gathers  those parties reunions  christmas celebration i couldnt attend. it was a waste of time(Mia look from players point of view. you are a mod you already get plenty of crystals).

 

and i am not saying about just this contest. infact you should compare last year celebration from this one. you will understand the difference.

 

and if they cannot make everyone happy they better go on vacation and let us also enjoy our vacation instead of making different contest and wasting our time by giving false hopes.

Mia, many players aren't professionals with graphic software. This is easy in your opinion because you are an professional with Photoshop, i'm not!

You chosed the only people who has epic logo, 3 dimensional and HD, a lot of us doesn't have good photoshop skills. We did our best to make the entries. At the V-Log , you said "They  all will be rewarded with 50k" we never heard that you said , some of only will get rewarded with 50k, eh?

Dude, the term "There can be any number of winners" means that the competition won't be limited to the "Top 3" concept. Hence the judge can qualify any number of player as winner according to what they deserve not the time they spent on it. Unfortunately the judges didn't find works that meets the standards but thats no reason to discredit the art of people like you're doing.
