M3 Viking versus M3 Dictator - Which is better, why?

M3 Viking and M3 Dictator are both very good hulls. M3 Viking is obviously the more popular one from what I can tell (obviously I may be wrong) because it unlocks earlier and is cheaper. But that's not the point. Which is better? M3 Viking or M3 Dictator?

 

M3 Viking has a lot less hitpoints and has a little more speed. M3 Dictator has the turning capabilities of almost a light hull and much more stable. M3 Viking wins in the power category. A thing about M3 Dictator is its height, coupled with a high-kinetic weapon it is very powerful but this also makes it a larger target.

 

So, the question is:

I love Viking just because it's so sturdy and smooth. It's perfect to use for any hard-recoil turrets, especially ricochet, and extremely dangerous when drugged. A surprising fact at the m4 level is Viking and Dictator have the same amount of health. In many of my battles, a firebird with Viking drugged is excruciatingly deadly and successful, especially in Noise.

^ Yea, it's confusing. But the default dico m3 has 297 hp, 1 mu beats viking m4.

 

Dictator all the way! The best at catching golds, and it got a little buff with this auto-aim update.

I have both M3 and since I bought M3 Dictator I've never turned back to Viking.

 

Dictator has: Better hp, less speed, stats say Viking has more power but I can still push them (done no MU on my Dicts power), turning speed it better and is great for Golds.

 

Viking has: Worse hp, better speed, can still be pushed by M3 Dictator, worse turning speed and isn't a recommended choice for Golds.

Dictator can push a Viking. Why? Force = mass*acceleration. Viking only has the speed advantage in reality.

But with Micro-upgrades, Viking gets a big buff. I think Viking M4 is better than M4 Dictator. There is then only a 30 points difference in armour and Viking is noticeably faster and less of a big target. The reason why dictator has more turning speed is so that it stays a bit nimble. 

 

But that is just my opinion; Viking M4 being better than Dictator M4

Personal Opinion: Having tried both Viking M4 and Dictator M4 on the test server, I prefer Dictator. Speed loss is not noticeable (to me, at any rate) and I love the nimbleness of Dictator.

Both Are Really Good In My Opinion .
Dictator :- Great Hull , But The Big Shape Is The Disadvantage .
Viking :- Extreme Stability , But Armor Is Less Than Dictator .
You Just Can't Complain Only Viking Or Only Dictator .
Both Are Good As Well As With Disadvantages .
