Remove shaft laser

I just found a great hiding spot for shaft to defend the flag in shepurnov, but since they see me with the laser they shoot me, so i guess if tanki hadn't introduced the laser i could defend the flag better. remove it plz

Anyone with half a brain can find a shaft even without the laser.

 

While it makes it easier to see where the shaft is aiming any seasoned player will find you quickly enough.

 

This is why shafts must move around.

 

You can't just sit there and pop tanks without assuming people will find you.

You are supposed to shoot once or twice and change your position. The laser update was a sign from the developers, telling Shafts to stop camping in one spot and start moving around the map more.

the being able to know where a shaft is isnt the problem. its know you can know if a shaft is aiming near you or not.i dont really like this update but tanki online doesnt bring things back :(

He was asking whether it's fair to other players and it's not. It's not fair when you have a good plan of attack, but you randomly get shot from an unknown direction and you have no way of avoiding it.

Quickscope then. Enemy won't see your laser if you shoot with less power. To kill enemy with less powerful shot you need to pick weakened target.

THE CANNON of tanki online.There is no gun in game that kick as hard. And you shoot TANKS with this bad boy. Whole tank goes BOOM when Shaft open fire. This weapon is THE HORROR in it self. You expect it to be stealth weapon? If you don't want a laser scope on this terrifying doom machine of unstoppable vengeance then you will get your damage nerfed. Nerfed badly. You will got your damage less then railgun's. Yeah, that bad. They call it BALANCE, ok? Old shaft was imba due to lack of counterplay. And it won't be returned.

I can deal with the laser sight for now. I can still get a pretty high D/L and score from sniping enemies; I just have to hide my laser sight and switch positions more often. Which isn't too much to ask for when you consider how powerful Shaft is.

 

Also, like Hazel said, quick-snipe enemies if you want to stay stealthy. The laser sight is hard to see when not fully charged, and quick-snipes do a surprising amount of damage. Combine that with an arcade shot or two, and you'll be able to camo-snipe without hiding your laser sight.

I'm pretty sure that I said this here before, but I played a few times with the laser shaft after the update and never found it problematic. On low ranks you don't even have to hide your laser as at least half of the players just drive right into it. If you hide it then the chances of getting a kill once you see a target are really high and if it's heavy hull you're guaranteed a hit, which in team battles means you'll get points.

Remove the laser!

A shaft isn't for moving around a (smal) battlefield. There aren't many batlefield suitable for shaftplayers. And now laying whith a big sign on my tank even lesser!

Enemies know excactly when the can drive around my tank to destroy you from behind.

I spent al lot of time and diamonds to upgrade my laser, It's now wasted for a large part, maybe I will stop playing TO. I won't spent that time again to get an other  upgraded turret.

Or, how about having an ability to control your shaft power? That would be my idea. If you can't hide with shaft, then with my idea you could increase and decrease it's power by pressing two keys, so if you don't want to use full power of shaft you can decrease to half, then laser won't be visible. But it's just suggestion if you agree with that, then let me know. If not, then explain why not. I think this is good idea.
