The new gold box sistem

Tanki developers created this system for players not be distracted and continue playing

 

(+) The good thing is you can now think better tactics to take the gold box

 

(-) Now players lose much time searching the drop zone, and now the gold box much faster so if you lose time searching the drop zone while the gold box is falling

 

 

The old gold box sistem

This refers to when the gold box did not say where he was going to fall and it took a few seconds longer to fall

 

(+) No you lost your time searching the drop zone and only you had to get a good place and wait, this gold box was bringing a lot more adrenaline to the player

 

(-) Did not know where it was going to fall and sometimes when it was start to fall you were far

i like the old sistem, it was so much extreme when the gold box start to fall and everybody run to get him

As for golds, well now that we're able to actually spot the gold and actually fight for it, it is quite fun. Your point about us utilizing most of the time searching the Gold's spot is completely correct. But hey! at least we all got a shot on it as before it was all on luck, 4-5 or more players would fight for it whereas the rest would have no idea where it fell. Now pretty much all those whom want the gold fight for it and their contribution towards the gold using their intelligence and smart moves pay off greatly! :)

I like the new GB system, now with faster, more predictable drop times, it takes less time away from the actual battle itself.

 

I also like that the new system spreads the drop zone over almost anywhere on the map as opposed to two  or three specific places - This method largely discourages "Boxers", one of the four great enemys of every player, the others being "Campers" , "Druggies", and "Hackers"

It is very annoying however when the gold box drop zone happens to be near the flag of any team. For example, that drop zone in silence where it falls right next to the blue flag is very unfair to the red team. You're basically handing the blue team a gold box. It's basically Noise all over again before this update.

I've caught more golds now we have a new drop system, it was impossible to know where it was going to drop, you just had to pick 2-3 places where you thought it was going to drop, so the new gold box system is excellent considering that the probabilities of one dropping has increased

Old one was better... Now everyone is cramped on one place and only laggers get goldboxes...

I like the new GB system, because

1) There are fewer mults;

2) Now the Gold box is taken by the most tactical player and not by a lucy player.

3) It's not true sometimes you cannot find the Gold box place: I've never missed a place... (You need tactic tofind the place, not just run in the map)
