It's really ridiculous that happened to you and should not be allowed to occur.

 

I indeed asked Tanki te same question, but I guess they didn't seem to care to give a reply...

I like the idea of finishing battles early... I personally believe that most battles only have a truly fight period of 5-10 minutes, the rest is XP grinding for the winning team.

 

But I don't like the current criteria... the threshold is not sensitive enough. I played several battles where the early termination should be kicked, but battled ended normally. This is specially noticeable when most players of a team quits, but 2 or 3 still give fight: if they can achieve a D/L ratio over 0.50, the winning team will not be able to accumulate score 10 times faster.

 

I suggest to affect the threshold of 10 times by the ratio of players in each team, so in a fight of 10 vs 2 the limit would be 10 * (2/10) = 2 and in a fight of 10 vs 5 the limit is 10 * (5/10) = 5.

 

Another idea is to add a "Surrender" or "Give up" button wich decreases the threshold by (1/number of team players). As most players of a team surrender, most early the battle will finish.

how about deathmatch, if one player is left in that battle must he wait till the end to recieve the fund? happened to me before. there should be a timer for deathmatch like if there is only 1 player left in that battle for 1min, or if there are other players but no one is getting kills for like 5mins, game should end too(for cases where there are 2 or more people in the game, but are trolling), same for ctf/tdm/cp when there is only 1 or few left, i dont think scores will be accumulated 10times faster at those situations

Why would non-druggers still like to do team battles, most of the TDM are dominated by druggers. This update only make matter worse as druggers are no longer afraid of the lossing side leaving the battle.

Unfortunately if the other team's total score isn't increasing at a rate 10x faster than you then the timer won't activate.

 

Flag caps aren't counted.

 

Simple answer: your score is too high compared to the other team despite them having 8x the players.

This feature needs improvement, there are battles where everyone leaves and your just stuck there for half an hour because no one is earning points, there should be a rule that if no points are earned within say 10 minutes then the timer should be activated

its a good idea, but if the battles will end earlier, the battle fund is gonna be small, and gold boxes will never drop. Although you could balance it by making gold boxes have a chance to drop 1/5000 than 1/7000 and making the battle fund growing faster. I know this might make some tankers rich, but if battles end earlier, most of the tankers are going to be poor..

This function should be modified a bit... Instead of staring the special timer when the winning team's total score is 10x, it should be when the Destroy count (or flag cap, point cap, whatever) is 10:0, 10:1, 20:2, 30:3, 500:50, etc... Not just the total personal score, but the actual team score that determines which team is winning in the end. Hope this is taken into account. :)

The score really does not matter except for tournaments. In "real life", crystals do. We normally say, I got 500 crystals out of this battle. We don't care if we beat them 10:0 or 10:9. When I am making 2 or 3 crystals a minute, I should quit immediately. If I don't, it's because I am bored or I have xxx992 crystals in my account, and I want 8 more crystals regardless of how long it will take to make them, not wanting to camp out and wait for a decent battle to join. That said, the people like me want the crystal earning ratio to be taken in account. Sometimes, one team scores (exp points or whatever) higher than the other but end up making 1 crystal for every 10 or 20 points. That is not a good battle for them to continue.

This is how it works: if a battle is not PRO, and one team in it is accumulating score at least 10 times faster than its opponent, the standard battle timer gets replaced with a special one. 

 

Good improvement, it works. I hope Tanki will introduce a timer like this for single players: everybody know about 'multi', low rank players who join high rank battle, players who join a CTF battle and starts doing parkour, ect. ect .

Ok , this is whathappened to me

Hill ctf , my team was up by 70 flags and fund was 40j. Then raiders came , and started belting me . And then timer tarted and I ultimately got 12k from it !! Though it was certain I would have lost the game had I played till the very end

So idk if its good or bad , but certainly it gave me a lot of crystals :)

WORST thing in tanki

1st place: rebalance (1-10  crystals) why: didnt give equal amount of crystals back

2nd place: Crystal boxes taken out of the game why: slower crystal geting.

3rd place: this update. why:  less battle funds, the noobs who "dont do anything" get big reward, almost qual to the winers.. :(

Only good update was... emn..eeh i have no idea.. oh remembered, the 1-100 crystal boxes.. which they took away after ~3 days~

These time-battles are ruining it. It is rare to see a 60 minute battle that is fair. At the end of most matches, the score is so unbalanced that its not even worth playing. And in 60 minute battles, usually by the end of the battle there are only 3 people on the losing side. Its even worse in low rank battles. 

If there is even one or two players on a severely losing side, the timer won't go off. This timer never does anything unless the entire team is doing almost absolutely nothing. And if the score becomes so unbalanced that everyone on the losing team leaves, then the timer doesn't go off because no one is gaining score. 

In PRO battles, you can set it so that there is a maximum number of flags, kills, or points. This stops one team from getting so far ahead of the other team. Now that this feature was removed from regular battles, things as much worse. Not that I mind, I usually play PRO battles nowadays. 

This timer only goes off if the losing team only has one or two players, or if it is completely full of mults. 

If you log into the game, and scan the battles, 50% of battles will have things like 8 vs 5 players, or even more unbalanced. This problem wasn't solely caused by time battles, though. This problem has been going on for a long, long time. 

Usually, once a battle ends, half of one team leaves, so it ends up around 7 vs 4. Then the people on the 4 team see that they are outnumbered, so even more leave. It ends up being 7 vs 0, and no one wants to join a 7 vs 0 battles. So eventually all the people on the 7 person team leave, and the battle is totally empty. When everyone leaves, usually in a about twenty seconds the battle is just deleted. 

This timer has definitely made things better, but it has not solved anything. I am not sure if there even is a way to solve the problem, without having some sort of match maker. But that isn't going to happen.
