Feature: Battles with obvious outcome will end sooner

These time-battles are ruining it. It is rare to see a 60 minute battle that is fair. At the end of most matches, the score is so unbalanced that its not even worth playing. And in 60 minute battles, usually by the end of the battle there are only 3 people on the losing side. Its even worse in low rank battles. 

If there is even one or two players on a severely losing side, the timer won't go off. This timer never does anything unless the entire team is doing almost absolutely nothing. And if the score becomes so unbalanced that everyone on the losing team leaves, then the timer doesn't go off because no one is gaining score. 

In PRO battles, you can set it so that there is a maximum number of flags, kills, or points. This stops one team from getting so far ahead of the other team. Now that this feature was removed from regular battles, things as much worse. Not that I mind, I usually play PRO battles nowadays. 

This timer only goes off if the losing team only has one or two players, or if it is completely full of mults. 

If you log into the game, and scan the battles, 50% of battles will have things like 8 vs 5 players, or even more unbalanced. This problem wasn't solely caused by time battles, though. This problem has been going on for a long, long time. 

Usually, once a battle ends, half of one team leaves, so it ends up around 7 vs 4. Then the people on the 4 team see that they are outnumbered, so even more leave. It ends up being 7 vs 0, and no one wants to join a 7 vs 0 battles. So eventually all the people on the 7 person team leave, and the battle is totally empty. When everyone leaves, usually in a about twenty seconds the battle is just deleted. 

This timer has definitely made things better, but it has not solved anything. I am not sure if there even is a way to solve the problem, without having some sort of match maker. But that isn't going to happen.

Good just i was in an island 60 min and 10 min into it we were up like 30-1 and there was no one on opposite team. I waited until around 25 mins had gone and then it just came on.

Using one of my low rank account. I just recently played this 60 min battle at Dusseldorf, I was playing fairly against other team, about team of 5. My team were quite weak against them and began to quit about halfway through the battle, leaving me behind alone against 5. Well, they began capping flags until up to 18, during this time I was using some supplies to challenged them but then everyone at opposing team started cussing me being a drugger. Oh well, should you know that's fair especially when I'm playing for fun, for challenges and obviously for some crystal funds. Then eventually some of them quit for various reason, and some player joined my team (now 2 vs 2). Now, I began capping few more flags. Now the last two opposing team decided to give up and quit (around 20 min left). This immediately trigger "you're about to win, time is ending soon" notification. This leaves me worrying as I had about 13 flags left to capped to pass the opposing team total flags cap just under 6 min. Obviously I tried using wasp m1 and nitro, it took longer to collect and capped even through the shortest route I can find. Eventually about 3 or 2 min left, some players joined the opposing team, which becomes even more challenging as they try to shoot me. I didn't want to give away the chances of being destroyed while trying to capped the flag. And to my logic is, how will it be possible for the battle to return to normal time, if they destroy me, when I have about 1000 points and being on a loosing side? Oh well, when this battle ended, they are one of the luckiest players today as you can see in the result (picture insert). Strange! I know this is a rare type of battle when winning team decided to give up and me still on the loosing side. So... Dear devs, this "end sooner" system still need some more polishing. As I wasn't really happy about the funds given to me for the effort I made. Oh well, strange things happened in TO... very, very often.

my friend and i joined a game where flag difference was 30

we beat them and they started leaving and timer started there was only one guy and he was not playing we tried our best to cap but he won due to the timer and got all crystal. other than that update is amazing

 

Let me get this straight! You joined the losing side in a CTF game. Your team started winning. In fact, your team started doing so well that they accumulated score 10 times faster then the enemy. The enemy team went empty, only one player stayed. The timer started running, despite the fact that your team didn't capture as much flags as the enemy. The timer ran out and you lost, when you where actually winning...

 

This is something that needs to be looked through.

The big flaw with this update is that if only one person on the losing team is doing "well" and remains the timer will never go off no matter how long the battle is played.

 

You could have a 50-0 score and if the one lone person on the losing team still has about 500 points or more the timer will never activate.
