Good for newbies I suppose. This doesn't really affect me though, because I manually select my server in Adobe Flash Standalone, as do many other good players I'm sure.

 

I'm waiting for those free private battles to come back Tanki Online! You took away such a nice aspect of the game when you removed those :(

i used Adobe too but the links that are supposed to be english lead to Russian servers, could you give me the correct links?

I still have to browse servers. EN1 or any busy server is always a better choice than the "chosen one."

Super cool move. I mean, if you get stuck in a server with, like, 200 greyed out battles, and only 5 for your rank, it isnt even close to fun.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but this update doesn't really makes a different to me.

It sends me right to EN servers where I can't find many battles (usually 2 or 3 only) which are not of my preferences (maps I don't like).

So I have to nove to RU servers to find my beloved 10vs10 Serpuhov or Kungur, or even Rio...

 

But hey, it doesn't bother me either, so no need to fix anything.  :huh:

 

(I have started to have nightmares of game mechanics always changing and never really knowing what am I suppose to do, he he he...)

It my just be me but I like going up against colonials and other people that are much higher than me. Fighting people my level is boring because there is no real challenge to it. After the hammer update I feel like the game has gotten really boring.

The way I understood the update inteded to do (but failing miserably at it) is to send you to the server on which you would find the longest battle list. So, if battles that have colonels and brigaders, etc. allow your rank, you should see _more_ of them, but unfortunately they need to revise the mechanics a few times to get it working correctly.

This is not a good update. I liked to go to the Russian battles all the time. Now it is much harder to get there. Bring back the old system. We can then choose where to go as before. I have lots of Russian allies.

I thought they show battles that are closest to your rank. That is at least my impression I got from the blog, I havent played tanki ever since hammer came in and shaft got nerfed. rip :.(

I find it irritating when I apply to go to RU1, but advance to EN2; then I discover that RU1 is not full.

But then there is no challenge to it. Yah you may be able to kill an entire team without trying but like playing a game with all the cheats on doesn't it get boring without any challenge? Furthermore you are not getting any better attacking low level players. If anything your skill will drop if you continuously fight battles that are easy to win so when a player that is your level fights you your going to have a harder time winning. Besides, you take the fun out of the game for the other team who cant fight high level players.

I don't like this one cuz I hav low ranked friends and I would love to talk to them in a battle.

I'm pretty sure there aren't different serversions for each rank like to picture. But battles in that server will have more appealing or suitable battles based on your rank. For example there are still recruits in the server I was placed as well as captains and so forth. At least that what I think it is supposed to be working.
