Flag SHOULD be most important objective for a good game

Why has Tanki made gold boxes and like so important rather than wining the object of the game by capturing the flag. The flag should be the motivation of players to score points not random gold boxes reserved for a few tanks able to get them.  Why not make capturing the flag the crystal gainer.  Maybe 20 or whatever points for each flag you get and or defend or.....  This is the current problem with the game in that the flag seems not to be the main importance here anymore except for those who really want to play the game and win a fair game.  Many games are over less than 5 minutes now after starting as the one side has already captured x number of flags and it is pointless to continue playing unless that gold box is all you are looking for.  If the gold box is the main objective than call the game "wait for the gold box".  If the flag was given the importance it should the outcome would be very different.  You would not hear a gold box being dropped and many players simply running like candy to the box vice protecting and defending the flag.  Hopefully, the object of most of these game (the flag) will be given the importance it needs and not gold boxes.

I hate the gold box drop.  Everything stops and teams evaporate as players abandon everything in a mad scramble for the Great Box.  Your team mates are now your enemies.  I'd prefer to see the crystals far more evenly distributed.

 

With regard to the flag itself, I think that there is too much emphasis on the flag already.  It disregards players who are essential contributors that clear out shafts and disrupt attacks before they get to the base.

If everyone is defending then nobody can capture the flag.

If everyone is attacking then nobody can defend the flag.

 

Some people are natural flag carriers - others are natural defenders.

 

A well balanced team has both and usually wins.

what are you suggesting? gold boxes be removed? i think it should just be that everybody gets crystals. like 500 maybe

Why not just give everyone a crystal for every minute they play?  Lost of course if they leave a battle early.

One of the issues with "Battle Fund" is that you don't really have any idea what you might get for winning.

 

Perhaps if there were some counter that showed your potential payout it might encourage people to play better.

 

Free crystals just for showing up is not gonna happen.

I can imagine thousands of small maps then, because its easy to cap flags. And truces between teams so they cap flags and get crystals. A fix for that might be the same way capping flags when there is only 1 player on opponent team is few score, doing the same yields few crystals. And no crystals when capping against empty enemy team. But golds should be kept. I love having the feeling when it says, "Craeee has taken the gold box" But yes, I am sick of those multi who stand around and do nothing, waiting for gold.

It would be interesting to see if Tanki could implement a winning system based on performance rather than overall out-come. I mean having more flags/kills per team can be a heavy factor, but if the other team can pull off a much better performance, they could earn the win etc.

It seems you only play CP AND you should realize that the only way to get crystals without buying is getting a goldbox or leveling up. But leveling up makes your equipement even worst, and you technically earn experience so... yea only gold boxes. Before there was crystal boxes too but you decided to remove them, so deal with it.
