Why make known that you quit

Topics of people leaving Tankionline are not new. But especially these days they pop around very much.

 

But...

What's the point of making it public that you want to quit? What if you just can't stop? Everyone thinks you're stopped but you're still playing. It makes people think you are too addicted , and that you don't have a life.

 

If you're thinking of stopping with this game you should say to friends that you're considering it , but you're not sure yet. That way you won't be seen as a nolife player who just can't stop. Im not telling names :rolleyes:

Players are leaving Tanki, they're leaving a game they used to love. They want to say bye, farewell or regards to the other players on forum. So that the others may know he/she has left. Also, it's just they're desire, they just want to make it ;)

If I ever leave Tanki, I'll make a new topic too.

People are quite emotional in these matters. They wish to communicate to everyone about their state. Leaving a fine experience is exacting. Some cannot control their addictions consequently playing the very next day.

Or maybe he just advertising it so that if a person tries to make a topic about such thing, and then goes to that link, he may not create such topic and just post there
