Do you think that tanki should make a map only for parkour ? 

 

With a lot of buildings and ramps, secret rooms... 

This will probably not happen any time soon. I thought of making a special parkour map myself and sending it to Semyon but I won't start working on it before I finish the exams and few more very important things I have to do. Also I need to ask Semyon first if he will even check the parkour map if I'll make one.

I thought of making parkour areas in the kill zones around maps but I don't think it will be easier nor better than making a parkour map. The simple small houses look a lot better as a background, I doubt ramps and large houses will be a good background for maps.

Anyway, as soon as I will be ready to make a parkour map (and Semyon will confirm that he will consider adding it to the game when it will be ready) I will let everyone know and I'll ask for ideas. What I can tell you for sure is that there will be a long path for OMP and some places for high/far jumps.

I. Instant self destruction
~I think that sounds like a good idea, traditionally, you are limited ten seconds as a penalty for needing to use the self destruct feature, in parkour, there is no need for such a thing. :)
II.impact force of exploding tanks (similar to thunder's splash impact force but stronger, strength depends on the weight of the hull)
~ This will certainly not happen, as Parkour mode is only meant to make parkour easier, not change the dynamic altogether. Idea: Rejected.
III.Free spectator mode (with option to allow only friends to join and let everyone else to watch in spec mode)
IV.Time limit set to infinity by default
V.Auto balance in parkour battles is off by default
~ What if someone wants auto balance to be on? Suddenly they don't have that option, and if you're already doing a pro battle, it's not that hard to just turn off auto balance. Idea: Rejected.
VI. Remove all irrelevant information from the screen, like the "battle fund" text, "score" slot from TAB score table, etc.
~ I agree, but it seems as though you'd at least maybe want to see their destroyed lost count.
VII. Detailed roofs collision (optional in parkour mode)
~ Are you suggesting that upon impact, the tank would interact with the environment by affecting the roof, or the tank?
VIII.Ability to toggle on/off interaction with friendly and own mines using the 6 key
~ If you'd do that, then why even have teams? Then you'd perhaps just want to have one big team, and you can turn on and off if any mines will hurt you.

Green = Good

Orange = Likely not / not at all.

Red = Borderline

@MarineMan2, I see you didn't completely understand the reason I suggested these things. I will explain it when I'll have time (I gtg now). btw plz don't say that an idea is rejected if you are not the one who decides what should be implemented ;) and if you do have an effect on this, please at least ask for explanation if you don't see the reason.     Read the replies, they answer some of your questions.

ok so here are all the explanations, @MarineMan2:

 

impact force for exploding tanks - this is really not related to parkour mode, was going to suggest it as a general feature to support parkour. sorry about that, wrote it in the wrong list by mistake.

 

Auto balance in parkour mode battles is off by default - off by default means it will be set to off when choosing parkour format (like smart cooldowns are turned off when you choose parkour format) but I didn't suggest making it impossible to click on the auto balance option and turn it back on. The reason I suggested this is that some players forget to turn it on and have to re-create the battle, and some even don't know what it does. This way the most popular settings will be the default so players that don't want any special settings will have the most popular and comfortable for normal parkour settings. This is the same reason I suggested making time limit infinity by default, I've seen many players making parkour games with 15 minutes limit and then getting angry when the round ends while they try to do something...

 

Detailed roofs collision - this means the roofs will have a collision that fits their visual look - with all the curves and shapes, instead of being a plain rectangle.

 

Toggle on/off interaction with friendly/own mines - It seems like you didn't read any of the replies, I mentioned there an idea of making an option to play with one big team to prevent trolling (because when players can damage each other with shooting there are always trolls in public parkour battles), and the ability to toggle interaction with mines will enable players to use mines for parkour even when playing with no enemies. By the way this idea is being considered by the developers. ;)

Another idea: make the 7 key to toggle auto-aiming. Players will be able to use auto-aim to shoot tanks as if they were in the enemy team but without dealing damage. This will make it possible to use auto-aim in battles where there is only one team and to save time so players won't have to switch teams in battles with 2 teams.
