Good idea, but it has some major flaws like every other ideas does..But keep it up ! also, i don't see this idea going too far while they added the new timer.. :unsure: :mellow:

Thanks. Of course, it is not perfect, but do you care to share why you think so?  it can only thrive when players show interest and give feedback. Ideas from players are usually not processed very fast, anyways.

The problem is trollers though. People can think they're funny by not saying they're ready. 

+when a battle restarts around 50% suddenly went afk or something...

Again, why its not mandated that everyone signals. Also, 50% is a bit unrealistic, as the player base that would appeal such a system is probably mature enough to want to play a battle. A fair battle at that, and not spoil it for others like many have unto him/her.

 

The point on forcing people to stay in the battle for 5 minutes is to prevent trolls from joining, going through the SBC process then leaving right after; potentially forcing the standstill. Perhaps if confirmation to start is not achieved in a certain amount of time, its called off. Then players that do not signal after several attempts will be removed from the game. How about that?

One problem is that if a team is losing badly, and half of the team leaves, which would result in an automatic standstill, they'll probably be waiting forever, as other players rarely joining a badly losing team. Also how would that incorporate with the new timer cutter, when one team is OPing the other.?

The new timer cutter should activate when all the enemies leave.

It could be modified to start when most of the players leave.

Brilliant, Just brilliant, Count me in! Nice idea, Hope it goes on to get implemented!

15+ people have said the idea could be improved, anyone else have improvements? (other than the early finish)

 

A mechanism such as what was implemented will be added to the idea. Though I've not had time to test it out myself, so I am not sure if the trigger conditions are applicable and fit the scheme of the idea. Your thoughts?

Suspicions have been confirmed, the current update just doesn't exactly fit. The "10x increasing score factor" doesn't work very well as is; I've only ever seen it after the battle has reset. The early end will however will go into affect (for the idea) when all opposing players have left. Still needs a bit more, in terms of its conditions for DM battles. But other than that, its been updated.

I'm bringing back an idea I had mentioned on joost's old XP format suggestion topic (which has recently made it to the game!) to see if anyone likes the idea. I've split it up into two mechanisms, for explanation purposes.

actually it wasn't joosts idea it was lieutenant me's topic.. next time follow a topic properly ik of that since i had a huge war with joost on it and boy was it fun

1. I was simply referring to the author of the topic in which I had mentioned the idea, not the idea itself.  Where I first suggested this idea with minimal detail.

2. The ideas are different; One is suggesting punishment for Shaft/Isida violations (in a battle format that has dissipated with Tribute), one is calling for regulation of XP. Two different causes.

3. Ideas can stem from indirectly/unintentionally; I stated my suggestion (now this idea topic) without being aware that Lieut had made this suggestion here. But again, his cause was to prevent unfair capture. My idea at the time did not relate to it. Now, it aims to create a fair and balanced platform for gameplay, as it would be a solution to the problem Lieut mentioned. So yes, I indirectly credit @Lieutenant_Me for aspects of this idea...

 

Try being a "smart alec" somewhere else, please.

the 3 idea has already been implemented but remember this game isnt all about XP

The only part that is in the game is the third part, EBF, and it doesn't even apply to XP.

 

Players of higher rank, such as myself, like a more regulated, fair challenge. XP fits the bill and is not always played fairly. When you get to the point where you're satisfied with your garage, you'll want to try something different. If you can't currently relate to the ideas cause, then simply don't give your feedback.

Also note, that this idea is applicable to ALL PRO Battles. So no, this is not all about XP

TMS and EBF aren't completely related to PRO battles.

but it has something to do with XP 

im not saying anything bad about XP but i dont want this game to be biased
