EBF when the outcome is obvious? I'm not sure if its completely necessary. The system will hopefully prevent team matches from becoming extremely unbalanced as far as the gameplay between the two teams. But I am willing to hear more on the idea, if you can provide an example within the context of the idea.

For those that play XP with proper etiquette, this should sound familar. Once the battle is full, one team asks if the battle can start (го?) and the other team confirms (го). When a player leaves, you stop (стоп). This idea would make this great system possible for any type of battle. It goes above and beyond what Autoballance does. Intended for PRO battles. Not only would it be good for the general playerbase, but this would be a nice system for clan battles as well.

Yup, this definitely needs to be implemented into the game. You can't stress enough how significant this would in a XP match (as you said), since it would usher in standardized 'proper etiquette' for both teams regardless if they wish to play by the rules.

You're talking about redbarron's suggestion^? I don't see how an early end attributes to the etiquette of the format. SBC and TMS contributes to the fairness/etiquette goal.

Well what i thought of when i said that was if one team really didnt want to play anymore on account of getting wrecked but still wanted the crystals, they could petition for an EBF usuing some sort of chat command like "/vote EBF"

Yeah my mistake. Forgot to specify what part of the idea I was referring to, which would be the TMS aspect of the overall idea.

I'm still not convinced this needs to be a feature. Its a viable addition, though the idea also seeks to prevent the opposition from being "wrecked." Will keep this suggestion in mind, thank you.

I agree. If only SBC was implemented by itself, it creates a fair start, sure, but theres nothing keeping it fair after. TMS alone would help balance out gameplay and accomplish most of the systems goals. EBF is already in Non-PRO and but not PROs because they are two different animals; in this case, EBF is just something to fall back on in the case of overwhelming defeat in PROs.

If anything at all, if this were to be split up, I would push for the TMS to be added.

Prior to the start of battle:

~Changing equipment is possible whether or not it is enabled for the battle.

After the start of battle:

Players cannot change equipment (if enabled) or leave the battle until 5 minutes has passed.

I think this kinda vindicates the purpose behind it. If equipment change is enabled, you can change during the actual battle. If it is not enabled, you cant change during battle. which is exactly the same for all PROs. Regardless of whether it being enabled for the battle or not, you can change prior to the start of battle, basically from the TMS. You shouldn't have to change within the 5 minutes after the start because you would have had some time to see the opponent and the team, in most cases.

Nice idea but what if people from losing side leave( which they always do) and bring the battle to a stand still ??

and high ranked players see the teams and score before entering and avoid them. so does it mean the accelerated timer will start cuz 4 people left ??

and this is no clan war so all will obey to some rule at some point it might turn out that some people arent signalling start  just cuz of the fun of it and agonizing others

Yes, many avoid lopsided battles. However, some do not and are willing for a challenge. EBF engages when all of the players on a team have left. It is possible for a team to signal a TMS if a few players have left; at a certain point, it becomes automatic, as stated.

The system ensures that everyone has respawned with full health and that no premature attempts at getting points occur; good for clan wars, is it not? I would hope not such trolling would be in clan battles. People could quite easily signal and be no help at all. All methods of reporting such violators (thru /vote or taking video) that are already in place are applicable to this and all other battles. I've not figured out a way of preventing that in this system, nor has it been prevented for normal battles.

That thing u said about not being able to leave the battle before 5 mins....how is that possible? Players can just close their browser window or shut down their computer.

Huh, that is a valid bypass, though couldn't it be noted? As the game did with Foul Play or Team Kick, the server would leave a note on the player's history if they leave within the 5 minutes. In this case: "[26.1.15 19:45]Early Exit From PRO Battle" Or something to that effect.  As I've said before, the regulation is to prevent trollers. In fact, I think 5 minutes is a bit generous. After finding out that the battle is not what you wanted, you can wait the 5 minutes (which is more like 2 by the time you figure you want to leave) or you can disconnect and have your karma marked.
