Calm down, the price goes down every day, it gets less expensive.

I'm aware of that, but I doubt the price will drop dramatically over the course of just a few days. It may be a lot cheaper if you purchase it during the last day or so it is open for "rent", but then what are you left with? Just a few days at max, to test out this combo at M0 level, unless of course you still have crystal left over to Micro-Upgrade it.  -_-

Today we have something really special on our list of New Year celebrations! Please welcome: elite Hornet XT, Railgun XT and a unique paint called Frost. These items are special not just because of their looks, but also because of their improved parameters too! You can rent all or one of them for the duration of the holiday period!

 

Hornet XT and Railgun XT have parameters equal to a standard Hornet and Railgun of respective modifications, micro-upgraded at 50%. The Frost paint boasts 20% protection against all turrets in the game, as well as mines. With Hornet XT and Railgun XT of M2 and M3 modifications, you can even take part in format battles!

 

Since they are for rental only, XT tank and the Frost paint will stop being available in the game on 2am UTC on January 12, and will also be removed from the garages of those who have paid for these items.

 

The garage prices for these three items will be decreasing with each day, starting from January 1. This means that you will be able to give this unique tank a test drive, even if you don’t have a huge reserve of crystals.

 

Consider this an experiment. If we see that there is demand for custom looks and unique items, we will consider developing similar features in 2015.

 

In the meantime, don’t miss the chance to play on an elite tank this festive season!

Not worth the cash. And no I did not buy. A foolish act, indeed. Paying an amount of 450,000 to purchase a "bit" stronger version of the armaments in your own garage and temporarily. It's just a waste.

Well I do buy but this is not a good deal for me or any1 first off i do not like rail the hornet is weaker than my maxed out m3 i already have the paint is awesome for its effect i would buy it if it was a permanent deal but only to rent it for that price well even to rent it at all i cannot see any 1 i know buying into this . You should have done more for releasing a paint with protection for the new turrets .This temporary deal in my view is just an epic fail

First of all, Tanki focus on your current plans. (machine gun/minigun) Stop getting sidetracked! Secondly, why must you give this out right after the huge sales we just had? Think about it, this is only good for buyers and is most likely a ploy to get them to buy or do you, the people in charge of implementing these updates, do not have some common sense? (No insult intended.) Thirdly, I'd rather have permanent things rather than something just for rent. Fourth and finally, the prices are outrageous for just renting for the time period of less than 2 weeks. I'd probably rent some of this caliber if the prices were cheaper. Might as well buy an m3 or something permanent for that price!

 

On the other hand, good idea TO team! The idea of customized tanks spices things up a bit, especially for people who are getting bored of this game. Maybe you can also look into the idea of adding Frost or new paints you can add from time to time as paints like Moon Walker or Traceur that we get to keep permanently, but only get to buy it for a certain/select time period. A cool/good looking paint that is not feasible to buy anymore after a certain/select time period will also be envied by newcomers. I'd certainly love having something people cannot get; it sets off a sense of pride. Also, most people will probably not buy these, but it does not mean they are not a good idea; they are just implemented at the wrong time. (Again we, the people of tanki, just had a lot of sales. Most of us have our crystal supplies really low or at least not enough to buy any of these unless we buy crystals ourselves. Try giving us a heads up that this is coming before sales, at the very least.)

Railgun XT costs 150k, damage has 60-95 HP, why would M0 costs that much?
