it's funny, but I found a lot of people (game's chat) who thinks they will have the crystals back at the end of the rent ... it's happen only to me ?

At the first day I met Hazel-Rah in a Dusseldorf DM XP with it, but I think he has ways to get it a bit cheaper :D

 

And I saw one in XP DM yesterday with a XT hull and turret.

Let 's just say that XT equipment isn 't necessarely impressive in gameplay... ;)

This is a nice topic to discuss whether or not we should make this XT equipment "impressive" in gameplay.

 

Definitly not going to sell power. Supplies do the job well enough, no need to make better version of any turret or hull. Therefore, XT modifications with better parameters are not planned at all.

 

But, if we are going to sell unique weapon versions there is a little room to play with parameters. For example, current Hornet XT with wings could use Wasp's speed and armor, but drifting in turns like ordinary Hornet do. And Railgun XT might use better reload but less damage or splashing instead of piercing effect. Something like that. In this case modified versions could not only use better looks, but some unique mechanics based upon original versions.

 

The only thing that makes me think it is not such a good idea is "paints" effect. We got some nice looking paints but their stats making them a bad choice on battlefield. Same goes with XT versions. You may enjoy different look, but not the gameplay changes it offer. Whether or not looks should be locked to functions is another topic for debates.

The thing that I was referring to is that I saw a player in that match that was really performing rather bad.

Which is no problem at all because it was a DM XP so nobody was "harmed" or had a team disadvantage

which would have happened in a team match.

 

I just felt sorry for the player who maybe thought that now he would be some pro XP-player with that XT equipment.

Don 't know if that was the case, but personally if I see someone with for example a Helper paint or this new

very good looking XT equipment I anticipate some decent gameplay of such a person.

 

Ofcourse everybody 's own choice, but if you want to stand out, and don 't deliver: be prepared to get (nasty) remarks.

And this happened in the chat during that match. Not really nasty, but also not as it should be.

 

 

p.s. Hazel, you shot me in the other match: even killed me...how could you... :(

Frost is a good paint we should keep but you could lower the protection on it to 10-15%

This update confirm my questions.I know TO team wants to become this game more interesting,exciting or cool.But I have better.Why you first look what players wants? I just want to say tank seems hearded our answers and fixing their mistakes.I know you want only good updates, but TO is doing only for you players.You can give at least little respect for them.

I wiped out a few with my M2 Firebird and just laughed. What a waste.

 

If you are going to make something "for rent" why not make it a special hull or turret otherwise not available for purchase - something different from the choices we already have in the Garage?

 

The mistake with this nonsense is the Railgun and Hornet combo - as if that combo doesn't already exist thousands of times in this game.

 

If you instead had something like "Flame Ball" with "Leviathan" for rent perhaps it would be more exciting.

Why would we pay that many crystals for something we are going to lose? It's better to pay the same money to MUs; they aren't gonna disappear.
