Such an irritant those xt tanks are, specially when you see many of the players in the game are using them. What's even worse is that till the 12th (since the 6th), those tanks will get more common in games for their low price, especially with those who don't mind wasting crystals away. The game won't be that playable till the 12th ends

 

I'm a Shaft user. Hornet's weren't much of a problem(unless they drugged) for me till these things came in. I'm just waiting for them to go and then I can get back to my regular one shot kills hehe :P :D

I love the idea , but 150 00 , 100 000 , and 200 000 for a hull , turret , and paint . come on tanki , that's a lot of crystals . and not a lot of people can afford stuff like that. please do this more but please lower the price by like 100 000. common sense tanki .

I'm never going to buy it. I only play for 22 minutes every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No way will i have the time to earn back all those wasted crystals

Today we have something really special on our list of New Year celebrations! Please welcome: elite Hornet XT, Railgun XT and a unique paint called Frost. These items are special not just because of their looks, but also because of their improved parameters too! You can rent all or one of them for the duration of the holiday period!

 

Hornet XT and Railgun XT have parameters equal to a standard Hornet and Railgun of respective modifications, micro-upgraded at 50%. The Frost paint boasts 20% protection against all turrets in the game, as well as mines. With Hornet XT and Railgun XT of M2 and M3 modifications, you can even take part in format battles!

 

Since they are for rental only, XT tank and the Frost paint will stop being available in the game on 2am UTC on January 12, and will also be removed from the garages of those who have paid for these items.

 

The garage prices for these three items will be decreasing with each day, starting from January 1. This means that you will be able to give this unique tank a test drive, even if you don’t have a huge reserve of crystals.

 

Consider this an experiment. If we see that there is demand for custom looks and unique items, we will consider developing similar features in 2015.

 

In the meantime, don’t miss the chance to play on an elite tank this festive season!

The idea of decayls is great there should be decayls for more hulls and turret. like we dont have to buy whole tank but just buy a cool decayl for our tanks . there should be more dacayls that would bring a whole new fun and excitment in the game :)

Being on the cusp of M2/M3 equipment and battles, XT is one of the worst ideas you could think of. Trying to kill XT hulls who are M3 and drugged with M2 guns is almost a pointless exercise, All this so called promotion has done is made people spend crystals renting equipment that they will lose and others have to drug to try to kill them.

 

If the idea of XT was meant to be a "fun" reward to tankers, it's failed big time

 

If the idea was to encourage tankers to buy crystals and spend real money on the game then I guess it's been a success for Tanki.

 

Please drop this idea from any future plans.

Just because the devs try something out doesn't mean you have to insult them, and not in a public area like a forum. Grow up. I know 6-year olds who are more mature than you. 

 

If you've got the xt equipment - one or all three - and you want your crystals back because you regret getting them, blame yourself, not others who put in their efforts to make this good game what it is today

I don't see why they can't let people who purchased it, at least get to keep the cosmetic add on, Because lets face it, Thats why everyone wants it.

 

So If a dev actually reads this please consider leaving the cosmetic add-on's in the garage, Frost could be a paint you buy for 1k, and it has no protections.

I agree. About Frost though, it would be good if that paint has some protection, I feel.

I will buy Elite Tank combo, but only on last day :P and all get rect XD Btw, is it true that elite tank will come back for others holidays (I read that on Russian Forum) i don't think so, but Russian Forum is full of spam about this. I think that devs made mistake when they wrote Russian text :/
