Reasons why Tanki got worse (not as a game, but because of the bad updates devs put in)

* Rebalance - made game much more expensive than it deserves to be

* Economics change - got 50% less fund. Now it's up to 80% from the 100% we had, but the 20% decrease is a lot, so it's bad in far end.

* Lies about TO 2.0 - was planned and then scrapped.

* A weapon that is basically Thunder, Railgun and Smoky features put together, plus a rubbish name (in my opinion) - Hammer.

* A waste of crystals on a weapon, hull and a paint - overall making over 700k crystals wasted on something that is going to last a few days. That is like half a year of someone playing TO and they're giving you the opportunity to waste that half a year's work on something that'll last 3 days or so.

* Bad balance of weapons and hulls - Firebird OP, Ricochet doesn't work as it should, Freeze's after effect nerfed too much.

* Parkour taken away - the new physics, which were introduced a long time ago made it impossible for wasps/hornets + ricochet to get on walls. While that might add realism, alternativa platform themselves said that the game isn't aiming for realism. But that's not the bad part: Dictator has become OP due to this. And in Sandbox, the parkour has been taken away due to Self-destruction which happens when you go over the hills.

* "Pro battles" (Pay-to-play battles) - all the options that were once for non-"Pro battles" are now taken away and only put in "Pro battles" options. This is not what those battles were meant to be for before. They were meant to be used for "No supplies". Now you have to waste 5000 crystals every month for some stupid options. And with the fact that you can make those battles like the ones we had long time ago, you waste even more crystals overall and are dissatisfied. It's Lose - lose situation.

* Railgun + Hornet promoted way too much - I know there are people who love this combination. But seriously, stop, You're addicted to it. There are other weapons and hulls to choose from and have a more interesting experience. And devs promote this. As previously mentioned, they made that stupid expensive tank that will only last a few days. They made specific battle modes, great, but only for Railgun + Hornet/Wasp. What about other weapons? Why not them? I have always wanted an "only Ricochet" battle, why can't I have that?

 

I like the game, and used to like it better before some stupid updates came out. Of course there are benefits from certain things, but overall it's just worse news for players. I'm a buyer, btw and I'm still disappointed! I kind of wrote all this in a rush, so if you have anything else that might have frustrated you, or any stupid updates in Tanki that have been done, write them in this topic. Also tell me whether you agree with what I wrote or not and why. But don't judge!

Some of these updated aren't  bad. Yes, aimed at buyers, but perfectly ok for non-buyers. Is a player cannot afford 5k crystals a month, they really should not be playing the game..

Ahem... I am perfectly fine with NOT earning 5k in a month. I still play the game, plus all you need in Tanki is skills.

Rebalance was the worst, remember when m3 smoky was around 500 Cry? Jade paint around 15,000? It's insane, that's what it is. I lost all of my good gear to the rebalance so now I'm having to craw my way back up again. :(

Same here! I used to have like most of the garage M3! And some good paints! Now after 2 or 3 more years I'm still not where I used to be! Before rebalance I had like 6 out of 9 weapons M3 and 4 out of 7 hulls M3. Just after rebalance, I could only spend my crystals on an M3 hull and a weapon and another hull M2, then a few M1s. It's insane!

No, skills do matter not wealth, I am not poor and not rich and I don't buy. Video games are just for fun and past time and I am perfectly fine with being with M0s and very skilled with them. Zesx you cannot have M3 when you are a Staffsergeant.

If everyone all of a sudden decided to play with only M1s and M0s, that'd be a problem for devs and good for us, as they would then need to listen to us. Now the stuff is above 100,000, (M3)  the paint prices aren't even worth it. All of this gear is hard to get even on a sale unless you buy the crystals (which frankly, I'm never going to do). Just look at Zeus, Clay, and Prodigy

It's very much possible and easy, provided that you don't splurge on many different turrets and hulls.

i know what they are doing there improveing the game just cuz you make a topic to scream and cry about how you want the old tanki back dose not mean it will not matter how many agree there are plenty of new tankers who join after the updates and love it so why dont you lone it becuse you liked it whene it was easier to get cry and drug and overpower the other team tanki is going in the right derection and you are just a obstacle they should ignore

In early 2011 (when i joined) it was a fun game to play, no kits = low amount of druggers, no self destruct penalty, double funds WITH crystals drops forever, no "economics update" btw guys did you know it use to be double funds + crystal drops forever? in mid 2012 they dicreased the funds by 100%, leaving it as it is right now, then they decreased it by 20% AND again added 20% to the fund so now its 100% forever, use to be 200%.then the devs added 1 numeral to all the prices and boxes for no reason, and then kits came where the rise of the druggers begun.

I still don't understand why...

1. The developers cannot make an option to have them in a battle or not.

2. The developers cannot add them to death matches.

3. The developers don't consider their users' opinion(s) whatsoever.
