Tanki is going uphill just having some struggles along the way

 

 

Mods are friendly and understanding 

Devs are doing their best to make exiting updates

and players are not being grateful.

@orangebee: After THE GAME, people will have even more drugs- not just buyers.

So the drug wars won't be going away anytime soon.

Wow I really like the tittle drug wars, It sounds like that show :)

Most of the mods are really friendly (most)

and I think the Dev's should let players vote on whether or not it goes through, so the majority would be grateful

What would be great is if they Prepare themselves before releasing a new turrent make sure you got protective paints and not a wasteful job the releasing of hammer was poorly done in my point of view

Downhill fast!  A lot of BS playing occurring in battles and even if reported in game tanki does nothing.  Tanki needs to do something meaningful rather than make things look pretty or screw up tank dynamics.

For now its neutral, its not going up or down, the only thing for certain thats going up is the $ in their pockets, apart from that everything is neutral

 

 

 

They nerfed thunder a bit with self damage, and reduced damage to ricochet and firebird (whch was needed) They also reduced smoky critical hits

 

Private battles being changed to pro-battle pass, not needed, the other modes added to pro battle pass were a clever idea, but for 5k a month to do this to participate in parkour contests and xp mode, is it really worth it?

 

I will continue to stand by my thoughts on shaft, i don't care what anybody says because its true, sticking a laser on a turret is not a rebalance, its the final burying on a turret i used to love, and does tanki think im really bothered to struggle to pick maps were it will actually be useful? Used to be intimidating, a turret that no one saw coming, now its a joke, and i will never use it again because of that, whoever actually came up with that concept must be really really dumb, sorry for speaking the truth

 

As for the new turrets the concept of the ideas was really smart, and im certain they will be enjoyable turrets to buy in the game

 

Smart cooldowns were needed, battles were unbalanced as they were anyway, you can reserve more drugs and not have to worry about people pressing 1,2,3 every time taking crystals which would never be enough to account for their loss of drugs, so that was a neutral change as well

 

Crystal boxes was also a neutral change, im not being discriminate but sometimes i hate the fact a game has so many immature kids in it, 50 and 100 crystal boxes could have stayed if it wasn't for so many kid mults who had nothing better to do than to mult for crystal boxes, no one was playing at all (well adult and teens were) and crystal boxes being added to battle fund gives everyone a fair share, even if the proportionality of what you receive is sometimes lower, it restored the point of playing again

 

Cooldown timer if a team was another great idea, 5 minute timer gave us more time to wait for other guys to join and restore gameplay rather than that two minute timer which gave no time at all

 

Micro upgrades were introduced a few months ago i think, it gave m2 users a chance to compete with m3's and guys who had m3's to go to m4's whcih was equally good for buyers and non buyers, besides this game is one of the cheapest i've seen, so at least it makes not much of a difference

 

Product kits are a bit pointless to buy now but at least it helped filter the druggers, hiding them i wouldn't really be happy because there were some kits i would have bought but because im one or two ranks higher, i can't access them

 

You may have hated smart cooldowns and others didn't but then you may have hated crystal boxes being removed and the ones that did hate smart cooldowns didn't, i can't say the game is getting better because they were some really terrible updates last year but at the same time nothing has dropped really

 

Overall its neutral

I have to say that Tanki is going downhill.

 

As a M0 (with micro upgrades) user, I want to tell you that the reason Tanki is going downhill is because of this invisible rivalry between crystal buyers and crystal "earners".

When the future Tanki comes out I presume that Tanki will start its final hit in the head before it passes out. 

Though, if you take the right path and rethink crystals (game play is fine) and how it can be used better (and I know Tanki needs to make money) you can turn this train around and take the right path.

 

Here is what I think Tanki should do, when buying crystals: You can only buy 120,000 crystals in 1 month and 1/3, and at the end of the 1 month and 1/3 limit and you have discounts at the start of a new crystal limit, they raise the crystals you can buy to 190,000 crystals.

It only took me 5 months to reach captain, you won't be playing with m0's for long, i always used to lose battles to others at my lower rank, however as i ranked up i could earn more crystals and the game wasn't that overpowering anymore

 

Your concept would lose tanki thousands of dollars, pounds whatever currency they deal with, that they could use to make the game better anyway! What about generalissimos and other ranks like me? Your not thinking about the majority. All buyers would quit buying and then you might as well can keep your m0's because there won't be a game to start with anymore! A really bad way for business

Great overall post.  The sad part is even with the terrible updates there seems to be no learning by tanki.  They will not admit the mistake and make corrections but rather keep adding patches on top of patches, etc.  Change is necessary but when you make a mistake man up and reverse the decision.  They took the approach of 'if we change this, then change that and more changes here will make it not look so bad'.  That's patch work and it is seriously damaging the game.

I guess Tanki isn't getting on too bad. Some of the updates just need time to get used to. I was okay with all the updates except smart cool-down and private battles becoming a PRO feature. As for smart cool-down, I've gone used to it and I really don't dislike it as much as I used to. Although, it was so much more fun before... But we've got to move on. The private battle issue is already solved for me as I've decided to purchase PRO battle pass every month. So for me, Tanki is moving fine - neither uphill nor downhill.

I didn't hear about the Doubling of the Supplies.

There were two methods: One, buying a Tournament paint, then, the Star Series, I think.  With aggrandized amounts of drugs, players started developing certain drug habits. Second, there was the VK event on for a week, it had doubled the supplies and crystals players got as daily bonuses.

I sometimes wish they'd bring the old graphics back...I want something new. And Hammer already isnt new enough anymore :d

You may not believe me because of my rank, but I was around during the old graphics. And even though the graphics then were harder and grittier and simpler than the new graphics, they still felt...alive. Not so much the hulls, but definitely the guns had character to them, especially Shaft. Whereas now everything is a big mess of gray splotches. Sure it's cartoony, but still pretty dull. Tanki should offer a way to see everything in the old textures, thru the Options, that'd make me a very happy papaya :lol:

The old ones had a stronger sense of "war" to them.

There are still some impossibilities in the physics that should be fixed.  The physics behind the tanks is ridiculous.  I realise that this is for those who like to parkour but it is silly that a tank can flip so easily.  Perhaps, in the options you can chose a parkour-mode for the hull so that those who actually play the game do not have to suffer?

Kits are the big reason I voted downhill.

It was not that easy earning crystals, but those guys with m3's at ranks like brigadier are just ridiculous.

Totally agree with Zakintosh

It is becoming ridiculous to compete with lower ranks that have better hardware than I earned.  Someone needs to keep a better eye on what is happening ;)
