We already have enough hulls, no need for another one, and there is a topic for ideas for hulls in the forum, no need to make a separate topic for this hull

We have one hater here.

Any trouble about how this section is managed please contact the house keeper.

After the update my Wasp feels like it has seriously lost ground contact.. and my viking drifts like it is a hovercraft.

I guess they already started to experiement on your idea ;)

well, if this was to be implemented, then we might as well shut down the game for good, because it would bring in all kinds of lag as well as making the game way too complicated. tanki was made to be a simple game that lets you progress, and it should stay that way. if you want a complicated game to play with, then go play world of tanks

 

 

I think you spend way too much time reading about military vehicles,  just don't bring that complitcated crap to a game made to be simple. -__- 

No enterprise is more likely to succeed than one concealed from the enemy until it is ripe for execution.

So... I thought about removing the planned tag on this one and moving it to the archive, but then all of a sudden Hazel announces in the Russian stream that they are actually planning to add this!  :o

He said he wants to fill in the gaps in hulls (make 3 of each class), so there will be a new light and heavy tank, one of which will be a hovercraft while the other... a spider-tank!  :blink:

Wow nice  :)  If I had a guess I think that the Spider tank is the heavy hull, like the Star Wars Mech  ;) and the other is a light hull hovering quickly around.

After Magnum and Striker I have little confidence in Tanki.

 

If they want to do it right they should show us the prototypes and let us talk and decide.

Lol xD, but in one of the V-Logs, they said that the devs were planning something special for hulls codenamed Character.

 


Will those hovertanks activate mines? I wish they won't :wub:

nope, no one can.

In one of the two last live stream from Hazel Raa (lead designer), he told how long his task list of "to be implemented features" was. I don't remember the figure, but it was long. And as things like "html5" are aprox. 1 item on the list, you can imagine how much ideas do pile up.

 

And still he reads here from time to time. I guess it's good to use inspiration all the time :)

This is not a big problem, i mean about making other hulls unique. This could be a great idea AFTER every hull gets it's own Overdrive. I dont know what hull got what OD, but the thing is, dont make this hull "unflippable". Make it have a OD that will make this hull "glued" to the ground, and also immune to recoil. So, this wont have any great overdrive, but this will make it unique. Also it could have less healt (like wasp/hornet) because it can be used very well for goldhunting. Mid speed, makes this hull specific on it's on way, not too strong, not too weak:

So, to summarize: (M3 tank stats)

Health points: 1550

Maximum speed: 7.80

Turning speed: 140

Weight: 2900

Power: 1350

Overdrive ability: Immune to any impact force, making it unflippable. Make weight/power x1.5.

Price for: M0 - 2 100 crystals

              M1 - 48 400 crystals

              M2 - 142 700 crystals

              M3 - 250 000 crystals

              M3+ - 500 000 crystals.

*mods can change numbers of something, but this is idea.
