there's a simple reason why railgun is overused.. and i doubt it's the popularity or the format. i've seen some decent ranked players not even turning,you're telling me those people use format battles? nah.. railgun is overused for an obvious reason,that the users don't see.

The main reason why XP is so popular is because the ranks for all modifications are pretty early and the price is fairly cheap, Hornet is the cheapest Hull while being the one of the two most versatile Hulls(Hornet and Hunter), and the Railgun ranks is also pretty early while still being one of the cheapest Turrets.

That combined with the fact its a fun combo to use makes it the most common combo and overrated.

 

IMO its mostly T.O fault that the game is over flooded with XP combos because they made most of the other Turrets and Hulls either overpriced or unlocked at a high rank.

Rail,cause its got auto aim and kinda good damage and very easy to use,

i would use XP combo even if both m3s were unlocked at gissimo, and costed 500,000 crystals each :) (EVEN if the were weakened a bit!)

I like this combo. It's very good for my play style. And I fair pretty well with it. I can usually end up in the middle of higher rank battles, if not towards the top.

 

Do I drug? Rarely. Usually only when I'm getting a flag or a gold box is dropping.

after you face the same combo in every battle for months,and still get beat,i suggest you leave the game,i'm tired of watching every battle,be it island to berlin,with at least 1 railgun in it. If this keeps on,there'll be no use of the other 9 weapons.

i can very rarely use my rustle paint to protect my tank from my own thunder when i get rammed,because if i take my digital out i can die with a shot and a twins ball (2,5 shots when i use titan)

to fight a railgun one does need good reflexes and hope the enemy tanker doesnt lag,or you won't even see them charging the beam (the only railgun weak point),i dont think it reloads slow considering it does max damage at unlimited range,has no self damage, and can see what's around them while sniping. m2 and up turn quite fast so you can't even say that's a weak point.

To end this, they're way too many to consider having doubts about the power of that gun.

Really i haven't made a complain topic against railgunners. İ haven't said "railgun is a noob gun". I just defended shaft.

Lots of time railgunners annoy me, but any gun lots of times  annoy me an i rarely complain, and these complains generally about haters, teams and about some game mechanics.

 

İf any skilled railgunner kills me, i don't curse, i agree. Like if a shafter beats me.

 

By the way half of the games we see curses about us. Who can stay without complaining while dying by an army of players in a row?!

Have you ever killed by 4-5 player without team while you were not first player and you weren't drugging? How many times have you seen that?

 

Fortunately, for beat one shafter, generally 2 railgunner are needed if the shafter is good. Railgunners see few shafters but we see lots of railgunners, so we can learn how to figh against rails.

 

 

 

İ can't understand why some of players really hate some equipments! There is not any reason for to go to war! We are just use different equipments for similar aim.

 

 

By the way, all times i see the unfair situation of tournaments! This is another problem.

İ agree! Maube more than 3 years, developers couldn't add shaft with suitable way. Shaft is like a step child! There was lots of problem about shaft and developers did something generally about make this gun weak. No one listened shafters complains but no one removed this gun.

 

Since at first of the game, boxes were unfair for shafters. Just i wrote it on forum!!! No one though shaft and most of the players wanted to bring back boxes. No one said:" But wait! This is unfair for campers!"  When i wrote a topic about that, half of the players didn't agree.

After 3 years, predictable drops has came. İ though "at last, something good for shaft :) :)))) and boxes were gone and i got happy because that was really unfair. When i was trying to say that, i got lots of negative votes. After i started to think:"Hmm, there is something wrong. İn this situation, there are lots of hater for shaft. Why developers add a good thing for shaft?" and laser!!! Most of the players(like you!) supported and added laser to this gun after 3 years!

 

Developers added this gun and they couldn't make players agreed.

İnstead of thinking about solute shaft's problem, they did an opposite action.

 

 

İf shaft was removed, lots of players will be happy, but developers don't want to delete a gun. But man, this gun is for fightning against all game!

 

 

İf shaft wasn't in this game, probably i couldn't play. My computer was so bad and just shaft allow players play with lag.

But i think, you haven't seen that!  <_& <_& <_< lots of think you haven't seen -_- Now fortunately i have a good computer but if shaft were removed, i won't look at my smoky and twins, and i won't play anymore.

 

And why they don't make a tournament for shaft? İ will search but probably i won't find anythink :(

Recently I have been trying to work out why people like hornet and railgun soo much, because after researching I have found that it is probably the worst tank in the game, but it speaks differently...

 

Here's my theory

 

1. Back in the day when XP battles started they worked out that hornet rail was probably the best comb for it because no matter what level of hornet you had 2 shots from a railgun could almost always kill it, so tankers that liked XP battles would buy it for them and just us it in regular battles too, so people got good at using it and it caught on.

 

 

2. Railgun and hornet in a 100% fair battle would no doubt be the worst tank going around, but the reason it is good is because 0% of battles are 100% fair so they end up winning.

 

3. Have you ever realised that hundreds of tankers use this comb but even less ever become good at it? This is because hornet and rail is one of the worser tanks just the 5% of people that use it know how to play and normally are only dominating noobs or players not paying attention. EXPLANATION this comb is the most popular in the game Which mean about 20% of tankers use it, so that means about 9% of all the good players are using it while all other combos have about 0.9% of good players using them so hornet and rail looks good and more people get it

 

4. Have you ever realised that hornet and rail (with the exception of XP battles because everyone use 'em there) that hornet and rail only ever get in the top 12 in and battle if they use supply's, that is the only reason (and good playing.) Most of them spend more time blowing people up with mines than they do shooting them.

 

5. they use railgun completely wrong, it is a long range weapon. it is normally used it mid range areas, also another way it is used is camping. WTH? Camping with hornet? are these guys stupid or something? If ya gonna do that use flipping Titan it works 40x better, trust me I tried it.

 

6, the compromise, use hammer, it is like 3 railguns in a row, 1, 2, 3 then you wait for reload, and since you people don't use its range or special ability then then hammer is perfect, try it, and don't look at others and say hammer

Sucks, I have not found a good tanker that can use it yet so test your self.

 

Conclusion, railgun is only good. Because good players use it and they drug and only ever win against noobs. Everything else is better than it and it only works in unfair battles AND THAT IS FINAL, SO SHUT UP

 

Lol I an gonna get raged at also, tank says the best players are the ones that use rail and hornet but i will answer that later. BY THE WAY I HATE HORNET AND RAIL

I will personally create 30 forum accounts to upvote this. I hate railgun and it is the worst item in the game.
