Blue team was dominating the capture point when the signal for Gold Box appeared. I managed to see the drop zone and went above it, trying to block its presence, hoping tankers would ignore the place. However, my effort was for naught. While some pleaded in the chat for "no kill," one tanker killed me. Alas, I re-spawned on a very far location. I was seeing the gold box drop. The only thing I did to lessen my annoyance and sadness was capture the point in the middle. While Red captures the point, a blue tanker gets the gold box. It's a trade-off with more benefits for my team, but I can't help but regret being unable to get the box.

I was fighting hard, looking forward to hanging up my tracks for the day when I heard the Siren. It wailed over the battlefield, starting a mad rush for the Drop Point. I was hoping that the game would disappoint the campers and mults, but my wish went unheard.

 

I gritted my teeth and waited……hoping…then the parachute was visible, and my heart skipped a beat. I floored the gas, rushing to get there first, but it was already crowded.

 

With one last effort, I drove on top another tank and heard the satisfying sound of victory.

 

I smiled, a new vigor coursing through me and my tank.

 

“Another round mates?”

It was a Polygon CP battle, I was on blue team and my team was dominating. Then we heard a siren and we saw six words in orange at the top of the screen. GOLD BOX WILL BE DROPPED SOON. Me and my teammates left the control point at once, and began looking for the drop zone. The red team  decided not to go for the gold right away, but they came after the took the control point. It was too late. The gold dropped. By the time it reached the ground, only one or two red team players made to the drop zone. With all my tanks power I pushed just enough to get in the landing zone. I had gotten the gold!

I'm sure any person would need more than just "originality" points to win this contest. It's just a little boost just in case things get REALLY tough I guess. But if you know your entry isn't going to do well, then shouldn't you improve it?  They give you so many days to write out your entry for a reason. :P

I don't think being first was what Kevred meant by "originality."

And no, votes don't mean anything when it comes to results. I'd hate for that to happen.

It'd be just like those lame Facebook events/questions that rely on likes even if you have the right answer.

                 unbearably  i lost 3 battles in a row, lousy shots of my  thunder firing one after another getting me nowhere. the rusty gears of my engine rattling under heat of the blistering sun.

 

"another battle lost" *sigh*

 

i was craving a victory that'd never occur. my brain filled with boredom.

 

suddenly...

the sirens sounded, hearts pounded.. all gunshots and tankers froze in a daunting silence.

 

!goldbox!... gunshots and engines started-up louder than ever.

tanks racing to the dropzone, illuminated in impeccable gold outlines, the box was in mid flight...

i was oblivious that i was sitting on the dropzone...

a gold streak pierced my hull. suddenly i flooded with adrenalin.

behind the explosions i lied there as the goldbox filtered through my selfish teammate.

The fall day was vast, it felt like it could go on forever. I had been out side working at the factory making tanks when I got a phone call. It was my friend Jack he said "Gold Bil" then hung up. I had no idea what that meant. "Is it some kind of code, a secret message?", I said to my self I decided to do some searching. Then I found on the internet Tankionline.com. I looked around the site hoping for clues when it hit me Gold box/Gold Bil. I made an account and played.  I joined a battle and a gold box was just dropping it was a struggle getting it but I did, I made history!
