Railgun Issue

Dear Tankionline Developers,

Do you think it is fair to be flipped over on my back each and every time I am being hit by a railgun although I have micro upgraded my hornet M3 weight alot ???
Why do the railgun users have an advantage more than me in the game ?
If you think it is fair , make me roll the opponent over using my ISIDA or Freeze or even Smoki then it will be fair enough............

Every gun has it's advantages and special abilities. Great knockback and ability to hit multiple targets in a row are Railguns unique features. Yes, you can't knock over your opponents with Freeze or Isida, but in the same way you don't freeze your opponent or get self-healed when you use Railgun. The overturning problem isn't being ignored though - the developers are, apparently, working on improving the physics in the game to reduce the moment caused by a hit to your turret.

Hello there,

That advantage of the rail gun is the penetration and cutting more thant 90% of the opponent HP "Hornet for example" which is fair enough.
WhatI am talking about is thatI can't be flipped eah and every time I am being hit by a railgun. This is not an advantage, this is a big backward for this game. This is not fair at all.
and btw it doesn't need that much work, just please bring things back they were and every thing will be fine....
I hope you will transfer my point of view for the developers.

The flipping affect causes you to bring out all the strategy and skill you have as a player to be able to avoid it, flip your opponent, etc. Whenever you play XP now, you have to be able to predict what angle your enemy will be coming from and shooting from so you can position your tank in a position that will keep you from flipping. I think this just adds more strategy and fun to the game. like MAFIOZA121 said, "Each gun has its advantages and disadvantages." Don't complain, just play smarter.

Marwan.Zlord, here's your answer:

Agreed. There is some skill involved in making sure your light tank will take impact. And I've been playing light hulls recently myself to dig into it. But there is a little bit of an overkill with current impact force on m3 weapons. Sometimes you just can't do anything about enemy shot. This is frustrating indeed.

We are not going to remove this update nor we are going to change the way auto-aiming is working. But we are looking into making turnovers not that frequent.

1. There's a low skill ceiling. I'd think your skills with one combination cap out at 2nd Lit or so, and that's a long shot.

2. Perfect spawncamping is possible now, even buying your way out is not possible. That is OP and absolutely broken.

3. There's a pretty wide angle where a shot will flip over your tank. Hitting the side is easier than hitting the front.

4. Railgun's insane autoaim eliminates all if not most skill involved in dodging.

5. The only way to "predict what angle your enemy will be coming from and shooting from" will either require hotkeys to look behind your tank, or ESP. GL finding either.

Everytime i face a railgun it singlehandedly breaks all 209 laws of physics...

That has nothing to do with what I said. I meant that the depression and elevation (how many degrees down/up the shot can auto-aim) of railgun is worse than any other gun, so most of the time you will miss an enemy at a different elevation unless your gun is tilted to point right at them.

Do i just receive the short end of the straw when fighting railguns and see horizontal autoaim?

If you ever tried playing with a gun with a six-second reload (plus a 1.1 second pause before firing) you would know that the ability to flip an incoming freeze, fire, or isida can save your life and often that of your teammates.

they already tune down a bit than the start version,

now, you need give 80-90 degree to the hull to give a flip,

if you are in air, 100% flip

if you stand till, and shot from a great distance, no flip

if you stand till, and other close to you, 100% flip,

so always drive in a angle and prepare to turn while avoiding the rail shot.

to be honest every hull has its own weight and before the update the turret had none , then it was made to av its own built in weight which was ok , therefore if u addin weight to anything any object that depends on the fix objects to balance then that should be first to be done first before the extra weight put on , that y it so easy u never seen it b4 this , but still kool
