Because the players' opinion is often different to what's actually good for the game. Also, many people simply don't bother to read and understand the idea before giving it reputation. I'm guessing that most downvotes in this topic are from players, who think that the Premium account is something that you can buy only with real money to get a huge advantage in battles, such as M4 equipment, unlimited supplies, no self-destruct delay and things like that, whereas the actual idea is about having an option to progress through the game faster, without any actual advantage in battles.

Yeah, but that means less skilled players at Generalissimo.....and it means that last rank will lose respect because people don't know whether or not you paid money for that rank, or whether you actually played.

It already lost its respect because there was an option to buy any amount of XP you want a few years ago. We don't know for sure if today's Generalissimos are true or not, unless they registered after that option was removes. As for skilled players - that's their problem if they reach a high rank without having much experience. The devs can add a warning message for buyers to see when they purchase the premium pass and once they paid the money there's no point worrying for their success in the game as it was their choice to buy the premium. The only problem here will be when those inexperienced players enter team battles and ruin the game for normal players by not being able to play as well.

Well, there's nothing to feel guilty about. Just because you didn't play for as long doesn't mean that you're worse than others. I guarantee you that there are warrant officers and sergeants better than some generalissimos, so it's the skill that makes you a good player and not your rank.

In my experience (I play alot with generalissimos) most of them are good. Some are excelent, and some - few though - are just noobs with money. The last part is my bread and butter in battles LOL

 

(I mean, one doesn't have to worry about noobs gen, everybody can serve the system just fine, one way or the other)

When you play the game you can get certain amount of crystals for certain amount of score points. If premium will give more crystals AND more score to buyer there will be no difference, but he will play through levels faster.

Then enable players to do power leveling...it isn't an advantage either.

Rename the topic 'Ruin the game PLS'. One of the BEST, BEST, BEST things I like about T.O. is that there is nothing that can't be achieved and is for buying. No one should have 2x the advantage of a normal player just because they're rich. Buying crystals is enough. 

 

Some games have other in-game currencies like the main thing you earn can be cash and the other only for 'buying' can be gold. I hate it when there are games like that.
