Premium Account

Recommended Posts

■ I asked, what is the problem with "THIS", i.e. the addition of the premium account. Other Tanki problems (such as supply use) are irrelevant here.

They simply reach Generalissimo faster. You won't have to deal with Premium Account buyers and their OP equipment, because by the time they get OP equipment, they will have a high ranks and will be playing against other players with equally OP equipment. It will just take less time to get to that stage with premium acc.

■ What does Tanki wanting to earn money have to do with players leaving? Non-buyers can continue playing like they did before and the update will have almost no effect on them.

Nobody is forcing you to spend weeks and thousands of crystals on getting XT from missions. Spending crystals this way is completely your choice, so it's your own fault for not thinking ahead.

The case here is simple - you invest money in the game and the developers reward you by making the game easier and making your progress faster. If you don't want to spend real money - tough. You'll have to earn items by spending long hours in battles.

Yes, you DO have to deal with premium accounts. While playing with a normal player they are far more powerful than you. Then, they grow faster and they will devastate someone else ... maybe. In the last 5-6 ranks of the career you are fully devastated by premium ... richer and more powerful!

Tanki "strategy" has to do with players leaving. Because non buyers can continue LOOSING (not playing), like or more than they did before ... and the update will have effect on them!

Nobody is forcing to pay ... but this game is becoming a free-to-play (to loose I would say) and pay-to-win!

I really don't understand why you pretend to say that normal players will continue as usual (which is already badly unbalanced for other reasons you know). I understand that you are part of the staff ... but now you are trying to convince people that water is dry! You will create bad reactions with this, as those I already see everywhere the subject is "premium accounts".

I heard this pass will cost like $800, like why would you pay that.

The best idea to get money would be to fix all the broken updates that have been put into the game recently. Opps, I should know this, Tanki only cares about Unity. With it so close they couldn't care less about flash. I'm just waiting for them to say the day before Unity is released accounts will NOT be transferred. -_- That will be the final nail in the coffin.

Listen, tanki needs to make $ to develop the new game and keep this one going. If they see this as the best course, so be it. I figure it will cost 20-30 per month, any more than that and they price themselves out of lots of ppl buying it. We as a player base just get used to it. And with all the hat for it, iI am sure anyone with the paint or rank will be targeted.

Yeah, something like that. Though I can't see what is the point of giving more crystals and permanent discount simultaneously.

Recent and future updates seem to contradict this :P

Tanki is a free to play game, meaning there isn't much of a difference between a buy and a non-buyer just that buyers get things faster with no hard work, and that is the special thing about Tanki. It wont change.

Closed.

It just did change.... :(

Fair enough in terms of providing 'faster progress through the game' (e.g. through the 50% experience boost and free Pro Pass), but advantages such as a 20%-from-all protection paint are definitely questionable. Not sure how one could argue how that would not lead to more unbalanced gameplay between buyers and non-buyers.

What's the problem with this? Buyers don't get an advantage by having a premium account (only the paint is OP), while the game becomes more interesting since you are now able to customise your tanks with XT styles. It's a fair and effective way for developers to get more profit without impacting non-buyers too much. Besides, you can still get XT items from missions for free.

#NoPremiumAccount: agreed, but it will be implemented anyway...

This is the final nail in the coffin: only the name Tanki Flash remains to be painted on it.

Though in a way it 's only speeding up an already ongoing proces: TO Flash was already dying

due to the increasingly unbalanced battles.

First it really beats me how TO simply doesn 't seem to care at all about the best Tankers

that play their game, but will simply soon degrade all special paints that are given to those

special kind of Tankers who had to put in a lot of effort to get them.

Either by fighting for them in tournaments or by being active as a helper of TO.

Tankers with paints like Helper paint, Acid, Bronze and even Veteran paint are considered

to be equal (and even less looking at the protection levels) to the newbies

that can afford themselves a Premium account. Yup, money talks...

Not to mention the incredible overpoweredness this Premium paint will have

at lower- to higher ranks: only the highest ranks with fully micro-upgraded toppaints

like Zeus, Clay etc. can make a stand.

Another joke is how XT gamblers are being treated.

Personally I don 't get this XT mania at all, but it 's not good when fellow Tankers

are being treated unfair.

Now there will be one single day in the nearby future that every Tanker gets a

Premium account. So every Tanker will be able to purchase XT equipment at that day.

Well, that XT equipment has to be made incredibly expensive if TO understands

the meaning of fairness:

because quite a number of Generalissimo 's spend already huge piles of

crystals to try to obtain such a special XT mission.

TO even gave them tips how to "save some crystals" and improve the gambling chances...

(sidenote: from the V-Log it 's unclear to me if the Pro Battle pass will be still available for

non-buyers. Even if it is I will not be surprised at all if that 's the next "update" they are

planning. No more Pro Battle pass for non-buyers:

this will be the end of the XP/BP Format, Pro Battle are already quite rare now)

What will happen to TO Flash? Here 's a wild guess...:

TO Flash will soon only be reasonable playable for high rank Tankers who already have at

least one micro-upgraded and strong M3/4 combo.

At the low- to medium ranks the "Premiums" will soon rule if that Premium paint gets

indeed implemented. Another new advantage that buyers will have and this time you

really have to buy it, no chance to get it with crystals.

TO Flash will become a heaven for buyers and if the number of non-buying "victims" will

start to decline (the first exodus) those Tankers who think they are "Premium" will soon notice

that the lesser amount of Tankers around them is becoming increasingly Premium also:

so almost every account becomes equally strong thus ending the former overpoweredness.

This will trigger the second exodus, leaving only a few skilled Premium players on Tanki Flash.

Not soon after TO/Alternativa will pull the plug out of our once beloved TO Flash.

TO Flash and non-buyers: R.I.P.
