Premium Account

Good point. İf there was x2 exp and cry for me, i could get your rank :)

Yeah, but you wouldn't have as much experience as he has, which makes this idea not a good one, because just think...a Generalissimo with the experience of a Captain = Disaster.

Wow, 57 dislikes to this topic and 0 likes to this topic. Obviously this idea will NEVER happen although I'm surprised that Hazel is so interested in this topic although it has alot of dislikes. Just imagine, this topic can get 100 dislikes in a week or two. This topic can reach approximately more than 100 dislikes. And, only noobs'd LOVE this idea and like it.

So basically the ONLY boost a Premium Account has is faster ranking?

Then I'm fine if it happens. It doesn't hurt me, and it instead helps OTHERS in the community, such as Buyers who can't find the time to actually rank up to Generalissimo normally.

And it wouldn't give them a disadvantage. You might be thinking that they'll get up to high ranks with low equipment advantage.

But a Premium account would mean that they also purchase Crystals, so I don't think it'd be too big of a problem.

However, I do feel sad for the non-buyer, new Generalissimos. They'll be going up against others, and the Premium Account users will probably have M4/M4 equipment with really good paints and lots of drugs. Lol.

But no worries. That's why we can make new accounts and start over, and maybe get a new Garage-build. Lol.

So if the only boost they have is in ranks, then I'll be fine with it being implemented.

But that's the only boost I think they could have. . .A boost in crystal wages? I'm against that.

They should not be earning extra crystals than other non-buyer tanks.

But an extra perk I won't mind is them having a 24/7 PRO pass. That seems reasonable.

Though I find that ironic if it does happen since you'll be calling buyers "pros." Which is false, since not all of them are.

you should have saw the look on hazel face when he saw this topic dollar signs xDDDDDD

I can guarantee you that this topic was not the first to suggest a premium account. It's such a typical thing for MMO games and other online services that the players suggested it and devs thought of it hundreds of times.

As if forum topic changes anything. We have been discussing this idea over a year now. This thread is only an opportunity to share some thoughts.

this is for nothing, looks at the number of dislikes that topic have, it must be closed ...

1st)  if dislikes ever meant "it must be closed" then the whole alternativa platform company would have long been shut down  <_<

2nd) most of the people who disliked just saw the OP, which was by far eloquent, and voted it down.  unfortunately for them they didn't dig into the topic to find out there's been way way more other stuff discussed in this topic, some of which I'd put my hands on fire and say that they will see light of day in the game this year itself !

edit:  i meant to write the exact opposite of that, just didn't type the word "not" between "was" and "by" 4ef527791de4.gif

@Loser: The point of this is to persuade people to spend real money.

Enabling it to be purchased with crystals ruins that.

And making it super expensive to the point where only real buyers will purchase is bad.

You'll either ruin a free-player's garage if they're dumb enough to buy it, and it's

much better to just make it buyer-only.

The original idea is HORRIBLE I agree.

It involves letting buyers earn more crystals in battles than normal players.

But I think that part was taken out.

So as long as it only allows buyers to:

A. Rank faster

B. 24/7 PRO Pass

Then I'm fine with it. It doesn't bother me, and instead helps others.

But I do go against the idea of them earning more crystals in battle. . . .

What is the difference between buying crystals or buying a premium account that allows you to earn more crystals?

Those are 2 ways to obtain the same thing: more crystals...it all depends on cost/benefit/time.

Consider this:

If I buy crystals with real money, I know what I buy and I have crystals all at once.

If I buy a premium account, I *virtually* have more crystals...but if I don't play much I will not have them.

So, if you think at "the big picture", having more crystals during battles is long way to increase your stash...instead of buying i.e. 350.000 all at once :) and last but not least: "buyers gonna buy", so there will always be someone full of money to spend for better equipment/drugs ecc...

I have some ideas for premium account.

1) People who buy it could have benefit in MU time. For example half the time to wait between MU or something similar. Or better: the longest the premium you buy, the faster the MU are. (i.e. 1 week premium account: time reduced by 1/3; 1 month: time halved...ecc...ecc...)

2) Premium account could allow the player to choose daily gift, day by day.

3) Premium account could grant spectator mode availability

Yup, that's pretty much the kind of thing I'd be happy to pay for every month.

It is essential that no additional In-Game advantage be available with a Premium Pass.

The existing ability to purchase crystals with which to buy MU's and supplies already takes care of that.

With a Premium Pass, players (like me) who do buy supplies and fully MU their kit will pass through the ranks much quicker, and will therefore be less frustrating for other, non-buying players.

Can't think of anything else that it would be appropriate to grant holders of a Premium Pass, without alienating or infuriating non-paying players.

Maybe a discount on "Hires", like the Frost Paint and hardware that's only available for a limited period. Or perhaps access to items like that a day or two before non Premium-Pass holders? Since these are limited-time additions, can't see that being too upsetting. I hired my Frost Paint on Day 1, and drew comments... But by Day 4 or 5, it was much more commonplace and the comments stopped. Today... Everyone goes back to a levellish (!) playing field.

I mean... I definitely *WOULD* buy a Premium Pass if it offered an In-Game advantage (just as I buy drugs and fully MU)...

But I'd hate myself for doing so.

:P

@Holyman_Tanki:

The difference between buying a premium account with crystals or buying a premium account (with real money) that allows you to earn more crystals is that buying it with crystals is also earning it for free. However, using real money on it helps Tanki be funded financially, and keep it running. Get it? And this, these extra perks are for exactly those kinds of people.

And I disagree about Premium accounts being able to earn more crystals. The crystals they get for buying, extra XP, and possibly a 24/7 PRO pass is enough. There are such things as 50% sales, and double crystal cards which is the equivalent to 50% sales.

1) Decreased MU speed up time for Premium accounts? Maybe. . . .

2) No thanks. Daily bonuses should be equal for all - random.

3) Now that's unfair. Pay for that mode? Not only is it unfair for those who earned them, but it is entirely unfair since it allows you the option to negatively affect battles (sabotage), but Tanki will let you since you're a "premium." Look before you leap.

Okay, I'm sorry for not explaining earlier. Here are my reasons:

1. If you reduce the MU time, then buyers will have a huge advantage. The will MU their equipment a lot which will disadvantage non-buyers. You can't really expect a WO1 to face a fully mu'ed firebird m1, can you?

Maybe the reduction in MU time can be for a few steps per week and the buyers can choose which steps they ought to be?

2. Again, buyers could simply choose crystals again and again each day. This will harm the game economy. Again, maybe if buyers could choose it one day a week or so, it could be better.

3. Spectator mode shouldn't be buyable. It should only be given to those who deserve it and can utilize it to help the players.

It only saves time. You can achieve the same result without any premium accounts by upgrading your equipment one step at a time and not playing until you fully upgrade the item.

Yeah, but if the time is reduced, then buyers will have insanely mu'ed tanks at far lower ranks than they would have normally. One way to minimize the damage caused by this would be to perhaps limit the amount of steps this feature would apply to.
