No score when I kill opponent

This happens sometimes. I kill a tank, and check the score using Tab key, and see that the kill has not been counted toward my score, even though the upper right of the screen says I killed the guy. I played a match against a guy last week and three kills in a row were not counted. I think it always happens when I self-destruct while killing someone (I use Thunder, so if they're close I get damaged, too, when I shoot them), but it is not limited to only these cases, it sometimes happens even when I shoot a guy far away. Screenshot attached, you can see that in upper right corner huggyy (me) destroyed a guy (and self-destructed in the process) and on the Tab display that huggyy has no points. This never updated, I finished the match, killing two more guys and the final score I only had two kills.

Ok, still have the problem. I ran the internet speed test and it says Ping...18ms,   Download...34Mbps,   Upload...12Mbps. I just cleared my Firefox cache and will play again and see...

Other things, 1. minimize flash adds on per guides ,2. only have Tanki page running on browser, 3. go full screen. 4.However note at full screen reduce your game screen(cmd -) - this really helps too 

 

A way to check if you got the game running for at least to get credit for kills , is run over a box, if you don't get it , you prolly won't get credit  for kills either. Happens to me every day. do all the above steps

Well, the problem still happens, but I see why now. Everry time I self-destruct I lose one point off my kill count, even when I self-destruct using the Delete key. I didn't realize they docked you for self-destruction. So I think that explains my whole problem.

 

Hi Strawwitz, thanks for the help. I, too, have occasionally had the problem of running over a box and not getting it. Also sometimes when I shoot people it doesn't hurt them and their shots don't hurt me. I'll keep your advice in mind, which I did just now by having only Tanki in my browser.

 

The good news is after following both of you guys' advice the game runs smoother for me, and seems to have all the effects on, so I really dig that. Thank you both!!!
