Instant Destruction For Friendly Tanks Impeding Flag-Carrier's Progress

'Cos man..! Some people have no idea about Right-of-Way...

 

Work your backside off to get the flag; endure/survive the opposition doing their job...

 

And then get caught in a log-jam of your own team's players, all rushing like lemmings towards the centre of the action.

 

Only viable course of action is for friendly tanks to immediately explode and evaporate if they touch a flag-carrier's tank.

 

Sensible policies for a Happier Tanki!

And how exactly is this supposed to be fair to those meeting the flag carrier? Can you imagine how many noobs will just grab the flag and go on a rampage, killing all of their teammates. Not only that, but this gives opportunity for countless ways in which this can be abused to sabotage battles.

 

Imagine this: 11 friends find a battle on Silence, where the whole red team has left and 9 players on the winning blue team are waiting for the time to run out, confident in their win. 10 players fill up the losing red team while the 11th goes to the blue team. The 10 guys on the red team let their one friend take their flag and go kill all of blue team over and over again with a single touch while the red team effortlessly remove the blue flag from the blue base. Then the one blue guy who carries the flag drops it and allows a red player to return it and the red team capture the blue flag. Repeat the process and within minutes the blue team will be losing.

 

This is not happening, sorry.

you do know that's impossible to do, everyone makes mistakes. 

 

And my suggestion will help them learn from those mistakes.

 

It will be a process of Natural Selection: if you can't notice one of your own teammates carrying the opposition's (very large) flag; and/or can't figure out that the flag carrier will be in a bit of a hurry to get back to your own flag-base...

 

...Then you deserve to be evaporated out of the way.

 

I don't see how any of this is unreasonable.

 

As for the "Noobs on the Rampage"..: I think that will just be good practice for everyone else.

 

Though they can't be that Noob-ish if they manage to grab the flag...

 

But I would be willing to incorporate a "Ticking-Fuse" element on the flag itself:

 

If the flag-carrier is still holding it 60 seconds after picking it up, then they explode and the flag is returned.

 

Can't say fairer than that, can I?

As I said, there is too much opportunity for sabotage with your idea. Besides tanks exploding out of the way when you touch them doesn't really make sense. This will never be added.
