Idea: Searching for players in a battle.

So... The idea is the following - a search box would be available near the Create button. We type the player's nickname and the system shows the battle s/he's in. 

 

It should look like this:

And the result of the search:

 

 

Typed "Y0" and the system highlighted the battles where people with a nickname starting with "Y0" are playing. 

This will be good if you want to find an old friend who's not in your friends list yet or simply you can search for famous players to see if they're in a battle now and join them, for example.

Awesome idea, I also had a time when I went out of the battle and there is a friend (isn't in friends list) which was previouslyin the same battle but also went out without sending me a friend request. What happens? I loose that friend forever :(

Well, I had the same idea for maps. Instead of searching friends, you type the map in which you want to play. Example: If You type "sandbox"; all the sandbox battles will appear.

Yes. I guess these two updates are needed... 

Anyway, Sandbox maps are visible in the battle list and are lined up one after another, but you can't check all of the battles to find a player  :P

What if a player doesn 't want to be tracked or even harassed in a worst case scenario.

 

Lets for example take a famous TO player or a developer like Hazel-Rah who just wants to play a battle.

It would than only take a few seconds to find them and join there battle.

 

Something wrong with that? Depends on the intentions of the one who is tracking.

The tracker could continuously join battles of the player who is tracked, with the sole

intention to be a total jerk every time.

 

If ever implemented it should IMO be the choice of the player if he wants to be trackable yes or no.

As a standard it should be off, and if the player doesn 't mind or even wants to be tracked

he should put it "on" in the settings.

Good idea for tracking people, but good idea also for stalking people.

 

So, only if a player can stay off the tracking, I agree with the idea.

I remember oncw my "friend" just joined battles I was and said everyone I was a hacker. It got annoying, and I unfriended him so he can't track me. This would ruin me completely, and famous players like OUFA. They won't be able to play battles without low ranks flooding their team :P

Absolutely amazing idea, I just want the Settings option to turn off Tracking, because all the Devs would hate this update if there wasn't.

The ability to stay invisible should be added too, like it was suggested above. But this is just an idea, further thinking is needed :P

If this comes with an invisible mode aswell, it would be a great feature! 

 

One thing though, newbies might get a little confused with the searchbox; not knowing it's purpose.

So maybe add a green text like find a player or something.

 

When you click the searchbox, the green text disappears.

Well We could have a setting bar saying Not Being Tracked and then thats over no-one would know where you are and as a fact (Popular players would do this Like Godmode_ON or PORTERS_S  Or O.U.F.A or 123egypt123

There should be a option on or off

and if you search a player who is hidden.

A message pops at your screen and says: This Player is Hidden, Cannot be tracked.

No. This idea is horrible. If they're not on your friends list, you shouldn't be able to find them. If you want to find someone, send them a friend request.

Read the first page, please. I already said that this is not for tracking people. If you feel like you don't want to be "tracked", you can turn the option off. 

I already mentioned on the first page how this function will be helpful for many players, no need to mention it again.

Awesome idea.I like it.But here is what would be good.This searchbox shouldn't work only on one server but on all servers.What I mean is that you can find a player even if he is on EN1 and you are on RU1.Also Godmode_ON nickname should be blocked there as everyone would just track Godmode.
