I don't agree the part where you say that enemies near the screen would get a white screen for 2-3 seconds. (Sorry if my grammar is wrong)

 

I think that some light should instead come out of it, just like a torch facing upwards, and it should be very bright so that this supply can be a challenge...

 

This can be a great idea for rank-ups I suppose... :)

Pretty cool idea but I think there should be amoke instead of a white flash and you ahould call it a smoke bomb.

Secondly it should be disabled when the gold box falls. It ahould not totally impair the vision of a tanker in its radius but instead blur his screen with small fragments, ash and smoke. To compensate for this it should have minor damage, a alightly higher range, time of around 3 seconds and of course the remote detonation is already a plus point.

Edit: Also its smoke should be visible from a considerable diatance away.

Instead of coding a whole new type of bomb, they can just use the existing standard mine code and change the effect. (At least, this is how I view it, since I am not a highly skilled programmer, so it might be more complicated.)

Also, having smoke that you can see through defeats the purpose of something that is supposed to totally block your view for a couple seconds.

The brightness would be limited, and it wouldn't be very effective. Something that blocks your screen for a couple seconds works better (in my opinion) than what is, essentially, a bright flare on the ground.

Near the mine* (And this applies to a limited range ;))

 

Why wouldn't it make sense? Flashbang grenades work essentially the same way, blinding the vision of anyone within a certain radius....

If its color is white then in team battles it will create confusion right?

Perhaps a different shape then, at least to distinct it from a normal mine.

Why not call it an EMP?

We're talking about vision mechanically, like viewed through optics or a driver's/gunner's port, right?

 

If so, an EMP would make more sense, disabling said optics.

 

The tanks are piloted by a crew, I imagine.

Call it an EMP, and it would make no sense for it to just disable vision, because then it should disable the entire tank......but that's not what I'm suggesting....just something that blinds your vision. ;)

Hi guys! Your idea is awesome but I have a little suggestion to add:

 

I was thinking in maps like Fort Knox and Noise. To get the flag you must cross a tunnel (or something similar in Fort Knox). When a tank is close to enter the base and see a mine, he/she will be blinded effectively but also will drive back and you will easily lose the oportunity to damage a tank. I was thinking in the ability to plant a mine on walls and buildings, if you plant them properly a tank won't see the Flashbang before entering your base.

My point there is that flashbangs are created for use on humans...

I have no idea how they would effect the tanks unless they were thrown into one through the top hatch.

Which, in turn, would require more animation like a little man throwing one in.

It just doesn't make sense to me, sorry.

Flashbangs would blind an operator looking through his scope anyways. ;) But who are we kidding? This is Tanki we're talking about.....anything is possible. :P

This Idea is a health risk waiting to happen.  Flashbang Mine really.....really  sure it would be useful but it  would most likely get Tanki Banned.

Cons:

1.Seizures
2.Epilepsy
3. Lawsuits  
4.Damage to Players Headsets, Speakers,Ear drums
So I get it  the mine would emit a blurry of bright light and  a pungent  sound.  To make the players go in Disorientation, to beat them. But  if the Flash Bange goes off does it also effect you.

Better than this flash bang mine i have one more great mine. Like this kind of mine will be cool and effective. But one problemo is dont me astound beacuse this mine will destroy tankionline map even watch this mine. B)

Hey thx i got a idea. My idea is can we have TankionlineWorldWar-1 :P  with full of atmoic bomb and nuclear bomb in a tankionlineworld war

am in tankionline world war-1 im this man

We already have that...but without lethal radiation and massive explosions.
