New Supply: Flashbang Mine

There is potential and it wouldn't be a bad element in the game. However, I honestly think the developers should focus on other more important things (this is not unimportant).

 

I can see the "flashbang mine" in the game, it would be pretty cool. But now we apparently have a ghost supply that kind of does what this thing is meant to do (but obviously does not as you've said in your other post). A good and creative idea but should it be prioritized? No.

 

This is my opinion; sorry for the late response.

Yes, I definitely think that the Unity Version should be priority, but the Ghost supply won't be in the game, it was a joke, according to Semyon Kirov.

 

Can you choose when to detonate the flashbang mine?

Yes, the Flashbang can ONLY be manually detonated.

Maybe a detonator turret that does the same attrabutes

Maybe not a whole new turret, pressing the 6 key after you lay it is less complicated. :)

you cant spray and prey like csgo. Even in csgo it is practically a death sentence.

Spray and Pray? CSGO?

 

By the way, the effect won't last long, only 2-3 seconds. The whole point of the mine is to blind tanks.

I could only imagine what would happen with it:

 

1: When you flash a tank, there will be that one tanker who will drive around and fall of the course :LOL:

2: There will be that one person who will block your way out without even knowing it.:lol:

I agree, whole new levels of tactics would be invented for this.

I think this idea would be a great addition to the gameplay. Especially as it has defensive and offensive possibilities. The skill required to activate it while continuing your motion and targeting would add an extra dimension.

 

I posted my own idea for flash grenades that could be used tactically, for example as an assist to escape. The grenade would detonate immediately and could cause disruption to enemy tanks only or all in the blast radius.

Your idea was for a grenade though, I have no idea how that would work in Tanki. :)

The grenade would detonate immediately and cast it's effect around you. Causing confusion to the enemy (and perhaps your own team). The idea is to be easy to use but requires experience to use well. I suppose it could be similar to the EMP weapon used in The Matrix (http://matrix.wikia.com/wiki/Electromagnetic_pulse).

 

You couldn't aim it in a particular direction, it would create a circular blast wave around your tank. The reason I think it should cause disruption to all tanks (except to the user who implements it) is to create a more challenging gameplay.

 

I think both ideas are cool, plus I think both ideas reflect real-world weapons which suits my view of how TO should evolve.

I was totally for this idea.....until I saw the "vote" option of using it to get a gold box. This new drug would totally change goldboxes. It would make a lot of confusion and pretty much ruin the skill of getting gold boxes.

 

The fix:

flashbang mine is disabled when the gold box siren goes off. Mines that have been set are usable but mines cannot be put down until someone collects the gold box.

 

Other than that one thing, I am totally for this idea. :) 

 

 

 

A lot of people are saying wait until Unity because of lag. I think we should wait until Unity but not because of lag (why does everyone think that with the release of the Unity version of tanki, all lag will go away? Thats ridiculous). I think it would be a waste of time for the devs to make this new drug, only to have to recreate it in the Unity version - thats why we should wait.

It was only a suggestion, but yes, that is a good point and a good solution. :)

By the way, Hazel has informed players that most updates will be postponed until Unity, so I am not expecting quick responses. :D

nope, bad idea. It make game too hard... It really need teamwork, and that teamwork is hard to archive with stranger. It doesn't count Russian player who doesn't speak English or vice versa.

 

to attack I mean.
