Tear gas, crotax and mortar

New idea

 

Although tanki online is not exactly realistic, this drug idea would be useful for flaggers, and defenders against railguns

Drugs name: Tear gas

Nothing new as other games happily have them, should cost 75 crystals to reduce fugitives spamming them all the time, players can use it once they have taken the flag to completely blind enemy team in surrounding area so that they have difficulty locating where the flagger is while they escape, the drug should also do a bit of damage if you are in the surrounding radius, similar to firebirds burning effect

 

 

Pros: Completely blinds enemy team within the surrounding radius

           Does a small amount of damage per second if you enter its surrounding radius

           Is not part of the smartcooldown system because of its limitations

 

Cons: The effect only lasts 5-7 seconds (could be longer, could be shorter)

            Can only be used once during battle once you have a flag

             Not ideal for heavy hulls (hell, heavy tanks can’t even capture flags that often or well)

              Damage tear gas does shortens as the effect runs out and doesn’t do significant damage

 

It’s ineffective on smaller maps but it can be very effective on larger maps such as silence, since you can change direction

 

 

 

New hull

 

We have had 2 new turrets, how about 1 new hull? Now before any criticism I understand it would be very difficult squeezing in another hull however this new hull could be squeezed in between mammoth and titan

Hulls name: Crotax

A hull similar to both mammoth and titan, it has large traction and looks similar to this

 

It should be slower than mammoth, but should have more health than titan and a bit less health than mammoth, and as seeing in the vlog, there is some potential (this might be crazy) that the hull could actually carry 2 turrets, one of the turrets being on crotax by default (which cannot be changed) and another turret of our choice, but the tank always has to carry the two turrets (basically any of the 7 turrets in the garage including machine gun), It can be a hull that takes great skill to operate

The function of crotax’s default turret can vary, I have a bunch of ideas crotax’s special turret can do

 

-Detector (can detect tanks heading towards enemy base)

 

-Mini mortar

When firing, there is the option of firing a mini mortar that does 50-70% less damage than mortar? It could be automatic or it could be manually controlled using the keyboard

 

-Laser

You have the option of firing the laser once every 10 seconds, it could be different from railgun

 

 

The hull would be considerably larger than mammoth, and should be significantly slower so it absorbs more damage

 

 

Pros: Hull has two turrets that it can use in defense

          Useful at fighting multiple enemies, like mammoth

 

Cons: Incredibly slow

           Difficult to control two turrets at once

            Large

 

Price is hard to say, but if this tank was introduced it would probably be OP at defending at ctf, control points and DM so m3 should be 250k-270k at most

Mortar

 

Finally we come to mortar, a turret that does splash damage (in respect to the other people that have kindly suggested this idea)

Although my idea is a bit different as I try to take it further, the turret can shoot horizontally and not vertically, 2nd of all it should be similar to hammer, perhaps 3 shots before reload? Hazel-rah said hammer could damage similar targets at once, well it can but it’s not very good at doing it… Mortar could be a turret that relies on splash damage, similar to thunder.

 

 

As the range from the target gets larger, the radius of which mortar deals damage becomes larger, but the damage is determined randomly depending on where the target is hit within its radius

Mortar should fire balls that do splash damage and the balls should travel at a slow rate to allow enemy tanks a chance to move out of the way, however, the balls mortar fires should only be able to hit the ground or walls, not the tank itself, but the closest range can be very close

 

I will post how i think they should look like later

But our organic eyes aren't expose to the gas and chemicals. Might as well make smoke screen instead.

There will probably be more future turrets, this is just an idea others have suggested

 

 

An extra turret? This will expose offensive Shafts near by. There is a problem, none of the hulls have a secondary turret with multiple features.

 

Laser already does, again crotax having a secondary feature is a completly new sugggestion, none of the other hulls need a secondary feature because if crotax is slower than mammoth, it already has a setback
