Hello,i have many ideas for new turrets

  • A grenade launcher

          It is a cannon that shoots off grenades which blows up doing a large damage to a large radius.

          The feature of this weapon is you can turn the turret up and down so you can shoot over wall and buildings.

          This turret can shoot only 3 on a row without reload.

          The weakness is after you shoot 3 grenades it takes some time to reload(6 seconds).

         

  • A shock wave cannon

           Its something like a huge speaker like thing that creates shock waves with high impact force.

           The sock wave throws away your enermies damaging them.

           The weakness of it is it can only hit close targets and takes time to turn the turret.

The grenade launcher is a great idea! It will even fit in with the game, but it needs a different reload mechanism as the current one you suggest is identical to that of the Hammer. The shockwave isn't necessary as there will be the machine gun coming out soon, which will work in a very similar way (just less punch on enemies).

Grenade launcher idea is cool, but needs a different reload system.

 

Maybe every time you press space, the gun fires 3 consecutive shots, just doing less damage, and they hit in different places, depending on how far you shoot the gun. (I don't know how long it would take for reload, maybe 3-4 seconds)

 

There also would be a disadvantage, like, you can't fire the gun completely level.

And/or you can't hit an enemy right in front of you directly, so you have to choose the correct angle so that the projectile goes up and comes down on the enemy right in front of you. This would be an awesome gun, by the way. It would create a whole bunch of new strategies, like hitting an enemy directly above you (e.g. shelling blue base from red on silence) or shooting over buildings while you are in cover or shooting someone else in cover, who can't easily be shot directly or with Thunder/Rico.

The grenade launcher seems cool, but the damage seems identical to that of thunder (lots of damage, large radius), so how about the launcher always has to be shot at an angle? Minimum 45 degrees or something.

And the shockwave thing, also cool, but would probably need more disadvantage.

Exactly what I was thinking, because if you Could fire it level, I can see players using it as Thunder or Hammer, just blowing up bases with drugs, because the splash doesn't really need aiming. Thunder would become useless.... :(

Yeah, adding an artillery "only" weapon would add to the game's diversity.

I meant you can turn the barrel of the grenade launcher a whole 80 degrees up or down and does a lot of damage with a bigger explosion compared to the thunder and when the grenade touches the ground it will take 2 seconds to blow up.

 

The shock wave cannon has no effect on your team it will affect only the enemy tanks.It has a disadvantage it could only be used on a mammoth,titan or dictator which are heavy and slow hulls.If it is a light hull like wasp or hunter it could turn upside down when you shoot.

I meant you can turn the barrel of the grenade launcher a whole 80 degrees up or down and does a lot of damage with a bigger explosion compared to the thunder and when the grenade touches the ground it will take 2 seconds to blow up.

Don't think I like the idea of delayed grenades....wouldn't make sense.

İ think that a gun like "grenede launcher" will never be added anyway. This gun can be so OP against railgunners, thunders, smokies and like other shot-and-hide players.

For example, you can hit any point from anywhere in Arena, Ping pong, Farm, Hill, Combe, Sandbox, Boombox, Camp; ever Highland, Gubakha, Polygon, except tunnels Silence, İran, and maybe some other maps.

By the way, it will be too hard to control and need lots of downside, so will be too hard to be added.

Like shaft and hammer, some players won't agree.

The weakness is the reload time and that you can't fire level. And the "large area" wouldn't be that large, just enough to hit about 4 tanks in a square. Besides, delayed grenades would lag a lot.

That means 3 shafter can block one team in silence(İ have seen it) Your mission is killing opponent shafts and let your teammate light tanks to attack. İf long ranges (shafters, railgunners ans some other medium ranges) can get so suitable area (because you couldn't stop them) they will continue to annoy you.

 

 

And did you see that? You couldn't agree shaft, and probably more players won't agree a gun like grenade launcher it's playing style will be similar to shaft. Lots of weakness and big power, big area control, support, different controls... these words call railgun and shaft.

 

Developers will never add a gun like grenade launcher, in my opinion. They added laser because "conflict" and this gun basically destroy tanki game mechanics.

 

By the way, if there was a gun like that, i would definetely buy for making my opponents more angry  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

That is your gun's weak which should be fixed. İf you push enemy far away from you and you have just a short range, how do you kill that?

They will get far and run away because of you  -_- Good skill, but you have to kill opponents for getting exp and crys. No one gun is just for team games, and moreover you have to get points in team games.

 

Maybe you say: " We can add more damage" but it is not true. That will kill enemy instant, but this is not this gun's main mission, and it can be this gun OP.

 

You should add one more shooting mode in my opinion.

The Grenade Launcher Stats: (composed by deadtoyou, subject to change)

 

Weaknesses:

Unable to aim lower than 15 degrees.

The reload time should be twice that of Shaft, but the damage would be increased as a result.

The turn radius would be more than Railgun but less than Shaft.

Once in MiniMap mode, you are immobilized and vulnerable.

Enemy team will see the laser point on the ground where the impact point will be.

 

Strenths:

Very high damage, almost as much as Shaft.

The ability to hit targets under cover.

The damage would be split between 3 grenades, allowing for a bigger hit radius.

3 grenades fired consecutively equals the damage of 1 shot.

Holding down space would bring up a 2D version of the map, allowing you to hit targets anywhere on any map. This option would have a weakness, though: You cannot see the enemy team, just the map, meaning you have to pick your targets BEFORE you fire.

The map will show you where your turret is pointing, and where the impact point will be in the form of red crosshairs. (changable by using the Arrow Keys or W, A, S, and D)

Also, the ShockWave Cannon will not make it into the game, I can think of several places where that will be WAY too OP. (inclines, trolling teammates, pushing players off the edge, ect.)

I like the grenade launcher.  Currently the shafts and rail guns can dominate a map and this would be a great equalizer against the hide and seek and destroy from a distance crowd.  It forces players to adopt new strategies, which is what makes games interesting.  Ideally, no one should ever have a favorite spot or strategy that no one else can disrupt.

Well the grenade launcher will blow up a large area and u can turn the turret up and and down 80 degrees which makes it able to shoot over buildings and walls.

 

 

The show wave cannon's damage decrease with distance like the thunder. ;)

both way way 2 overpowered....

The first one gernade Launcher? How are you gonna see over buildings tanki will implant some xray vision or top veiw of map

 

Shockwave SUPER OP

1 dont have to aim

2 high impact (will flip all around you)

3  king of short range weapons

The concept itself is pretty cool, but remember that the devs aren't going to add any special controls for aiming turrets. This might have to use a system like Shaft- you can aim when you're holding down the spacebar, but you're immobile.

          This turret can shoot only 3 on a row without reload.

          The weakness is after you shoot 3 grenades it takes some time to reload(6 seconds).
