Most people would simply say ''Don't think about her''. But that is just impossible. So what I would do in your case is think about it.

Why do you even like her? Is it because she is beautiful, rich or is it because she has a good personality or character? Thats how I got over my crush, simply thought about it, why do I like her. I found out it was just because of her outer beauty, not inner beauty. :)

Well, is it like both of you loved each other and she had to leave? You can still write each other on social media, though...

Had a sort of similar experience quite a while back. Crush on this girl I met on a week away, never got that close to her, but it was serious mind-invasion. She added me on fb and I wasn't sure what to do lol. Of course, nothing really happened (She lived the other side of the country) but I appeased myself by starting up one chat with her which didn't last long in fairness, but I was pretty head-over-heels so something needed to be done. Yeah, so if you do have some contact with her over any networks, go for it, even if the chat doesn't last long and you don't see her again, it does help you to get your mind off it a bit in some strange way.

Another way to start getting addicted to the internet. Having her as a friend is not a bad choice, but talking to her frequently is bad. Get over it.
