The combo i like the most right niw is Railgun , Hornet  or Hunnter and Storm. Railgun is just awesome!  I also like having Vulcan with Viking  and Twins with Hornet. All the above are M1.

I know this might sound a bit wacky, but if you're a high rank and you like playing on big maps like Dusseldorf and Monte Carlo for CTF, my trick combo for this is Smoky M3/Hornet M3 + Prodigi. Paired up with oodlles of drugs and (presumably) micro upgrades, once you have their flag, they'll never be able to catch you (well, almost never :P). I found this the case when a few months ago in test server, it gave me SmokyM3/Hornet M3 + Tundra upon creating an account. Along with almost unlimited drugs, I kept getting all the caps and 1st places.

We all definitely have a certain combo we prefer using over and over again, and setting up a certain combo has intelligence and tactical hidden things. Making a certain combo isn't what all of us can do by mixing things up.

My personal favorite combo'(s) is XP/BP.. I just can't resist using that. I personally prefer it due to the amount of accuracy you require to shoot nice shots in style, I should say. Inevitable.

 

Other than that, I've been using XP since the very first days on TO. I always liked at that time and still do. First m3 was XP as well.. :D

Same thing to me too :) , and all reasons u stated too :) plus hornet takes more skill to drive than wasp as it drifts around the corners witch can allow u to do some trickshots and dodge attacks too somehow... :ph34r:

I like these combos in order:

1. Viking-Thunder B) (Knight)
2. Dictator-Twins :ph34r: (Juggernaut)
3. Hornet-Freeze :P (Yeti)
4. Mammoth-Ricochet :) (Behemoth)

I use these combos all the time.

 

1. Firebird M2 (33/50) + Wasp M1 (50/50) + Storm + Hohloma LGC (1/11) for large maps and is my favorite combo.

2. Firebird M2 (33/50) + Hunter M2 (8/50) + Hohloma + Hohloma LGC (1/11) for Polygon CP and a lot of small maps. This is my buffed up, badass version of Firewall Kit (which I got way back when I was a First Lieutenant).

 

For the future:

 

1. Firebird M4 + Wasp M4 + Zeus + Badger T-H M4 (switched with other protections as necessary) as my main combo. This would be very good for short-range combat.

2. Firebird M4 + Hunter M4 + Zeus + Badger T-H M4 for dominating Polygon CP battles. The 50% protection provided against all short range weapons in the Badger T-H protection module (M4) will enable me to be extremely deadly in close combat.

3. Freeze M4 + Wasp M4 + Frost + Badger T-H M4 (switched with other protections as necessary) for fun. Freeze is my second favorite turret, so I will get the M3 version pretty early on. The Frost paint looks awesome too!  :)

I use Viking M1 + Smoky M1 + Griffon T-B M0 and the standard green paint. Works pretty good for me! I also want the module that protects against  Firebird, Freeze and Isida...forget what it's called but it would help me a lot :D

 

But I'm not spending anything since I'm saving up for the Northerner kit when I get to the rank of Captain.

Hooligan is nice, Matrix is nice, and you can switch the thunder and smoky with eachother and both combos are stil good, I still dont have anything for short range cuz I`m saving for glaze

I was a beast with M2 Viking/Firebird - until they changed the specs of Viking (which is like riding on balloons when being bumped/hit/knocked around) and took away Firebird's penetrating power.

I play around with random combos and not sure what the best is. any ideas and or suggestion?

There isn't any best combo. Sure, some may be more powerful than others at the moment, but if a certain weapon or combination is clearly stronger than others, developers will most likely nerf it in the next balance update. Also, strength of a particular combo depends heavily on the player's skill and preference.

 

But if you really want to know, in my opinion the strongest guns at the moment are Twins (with the fast projectiles alteration), Hammer (with both alterations) and Smoky.

the twins nerf made twins do splash damage. twins already has barely any range, so now twins is trash
hammer only has three shots and has slow reload
my smoky m0 does barely any damage and smoly m1 is 11,000 crystals. ridiculously overpriced

 

my firebird m1 does a lot of damage but is close ranged.
freeze m0 doesn't do that much damage and takes a long time to freeze an enemy.
Vulcan is good but doesn't do that much damage and slow rotation speed and it also overheats
shaft has slow rotation speed and has the crappy laser system when in sniping mode. non sniping mode barely does any damage.
striker laser is slow at charging up and enemies can easily move out of the way
thunder does splash damage to itself
railgun m0 2 shot hornet m0 and/or hornet m1 and has slow reload speed
richote has limited bullets and is difficult to control and can damage self by reflecting bullets on itself.
when does the artillery turret come out?
isida barely any range barely any damage and takes a long time to heal mammoth/titans.
