Gold sitters in Noise

As most players know GB can drop in the spot here in Noise:

 

 

 

 

But that also means in the red team lots of Wasp join and parkour up here like this so they can take GB before anyone else:

 

 

 

 

I find it gets really annoying as quite often the red team is 2-3 people short because those 2-3 are just multing on top of that roof waiting for the GB to drop.

 

So I suggest Tanki removes this spot so that the Gold sitters won't come and mult in your team sitting up on top of that roof. There are still 3 other drop zones in that map which are fine, only that spot needs to be removed so that mults don't join your team to parkour on top the roof.

Well, there are many other places for it to drop and if you stay on the lower platform after the siren you'll be able to get to EVERY spot as you see the gold box fall, while the "mults" on top can only get the box that's right below. But I do agree - this is somewhat problematic.

I suggest the roof of that house to be an automatic self-destruct zone unless the gold box sirens go off, and then after the gold box falls, it goes back to being a self-destruct zone. It is annoying and there is no use for players to be up there. It takes (at my rank) at least 3 people to get 1 person on the roof. That leaves the red team 3 tanks short. Once they start doing it, then everyone else joins them. Just an idea......

I wouldn't say its biased in terms of gameplay but the red team does normally have a better chance at catching gold boxes due to the up-hill advantage.

i agree, im one of those people who like to get on top lol but its really annoying sometimes because im the only wasp (it happen to me 1 time) in the map and i went to the top of the house. so i WAS killing the blue team but there were 3 guys trying to get me down and they started to be mults just because i was on the top like common they were mamoths they could barely move

so i do want for that GB spot to be removed or changed

like in serpehuv, when you jumped (long time ago) to get a crystal somehow your tanked bugged and you could not get that crystal

so make it the same for that GB spot... when mults jump they wont be able to get it until a certain height

i am not mult but this time we were wining by so many flags and there were less people in other team so everyone was trying to get on that house but only i got there and luckly gold dropped and i got it. but i wasnt multing and i dont parkour in regular battle except in dead battles.

    It's biased towards the red team in terms of the gold box, but in terms of gameplay the map is quite balanced. At least I won many battles there for both sides.

    Red base is more comfortable because you can defend it from the middle level, shooting down on everyone coming up from below. You can also rain fire on the blue base from above and even drop mines onto their base without going down there. However, even if you have a Mammoth + Freeze sitting right on your flag, it's easy for enemy wasps to slip past your defenses and use the ramps to jump over the Mammoth, grab the flag, jump off the "balcony" and capture the flag within seconds. It's always easier if it takes a while to get to the flag, but the escape is quick, rather than the other way around.

    Blue base is easier to defend because it is so enclosed and that is it's main advantage. As long as you capture one flag in the begining, you can spend the whole game defending and win anyway.

You can use Wasp M2 to get on the roof by yourself. I've done it with Smoky.

ofcourse if u play 1-2 times a week in that map u dont have the skills to get it, but i have my own tactics how to get almost ewery GB ewev if there are tankers on that house or idk what it is..

I agree with this topic.

Even I find many useless and unhelpful idiots who does nothing for their team but just sit up their till gold drops.

But I don't think that the house should be removed from the map becuz it's a lot of coverage for the red team .but I think that if they can replace the predictable gold box sign from that particular place and replace it in some other place in the same map it would be much better(but for that too the sign for gold should be away from heights which are reachable by normal tactics)

I've played on Noise and Blue team has the massive disadvantage of height, but the Red team has the disadvantage of losing their flag over the edge pretty quickly.
