Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right section for this topic but I'm going give in my story...

 

Using one of my low rank account. I just recently played this 60 min battle at Dusseldorf, I was playing fairly against other team, about team of 5. My team were quite weak against them and began to quit about halfway through the battle, leaving me behind alone against 5. Well, they began capping flags until up to 18, during this time I was using some supplies to challenged them but then everyone at opposing team started cussing me being a drugger. Oh well, should you know that's fair especially when I'm playing for fun, for challenges and obviously for some crystal funds. Then eventually some of them quit for various reason, and some player joined my team (now 2 vs 2). Now, I began capping few more flags. Now the last two opposing team decided to give up and quit (around 20 min left). This immediately trigger "you're about to win, time is ending soon" notification. This leaves me worrying as I had about 13 flags left to capped to pass the opposing team total flags cap just under 6 min. Obviously I tried using wasp m1 and nitro, it took longer to collect and capped even through the shortest route I can find. Eventually about 3 or 2 min left, some players joined the opposing team, which becomes even more challenging as they try to shoot me. I didn't want to give away the chances of being destroyed while trying to capped the flag. And to my logic is, how will it be possible for the battle to return to normal time, if they destroy me, when I have about 1000 points and being on a loosing side? Oh well, when this battle ended, they are one of the luckiest players today as you can see in the result (picture insert). Strange! I know this is a rare type of battle when winning team decided to give up and me still on the loosing side. So... Dear devs, this "end sooner" system still need some more polishing. As I wasn't really happy about the funds given to me for the effort I made. Oh well, strange things happened in TO... very, very often.

I think you're supposed to let them get more points than you to remove the premature ending timer. I don't know how many more points exactly and neither do I know what the limit is for the timer to be removed, but you definitely found a bug that needs fixing...

I pointed out this fact a few times already with zero replies, so don't get your hopes up!

I think you're supposed to let them get more points than you to remove the premature ending timer. I don't know how many more points exactly and neither do I know what the limit is for the timer to be removed, but you definitely found a bug that needs fixing...

You are right, but looks like they need roughly 10 000 points to make the timer go back normal ( I'm just assuming) according to this one team in it is accumulating score at least 10 times faster than its opponent. How? With just a few minutes left?

How do I make a devs look into this topic? Or have they already looked into it? Or need I send this to them through PM?

Looks like you have to wait for a while for it to start, more or less 5 minutes before ending timer starts. IMO this is fine since you might get opportunity for opposing player to join and create more battle funds by destroying them as I hate waiting for 6 mins ( in 60 min battle) and doing nothing.

 

Yeah, that timer really needs a reworking. I hate how it almost always comes on after the first kill in TDM (and then leaves after the enemy team gets their first kill).

Pretty need a fixing especially a few seconds after battle started. 

 

 

I pointed out this fact a few times already with zero replies, so don't get your hopes up!

Interesting, where did you pointed this issue out?

They would to have had to get about 145 points, together, which isn't much.

 

Of course, a 2v2 in Dusseldorf would be hard to do as finding players would be difficult.

 

Just bad luck I guess. Why a winning team with a 1k fund in the lower ranks would leave beats me.

I guess they never took into account that the winners would for some reason all leave, so that's why this problem appeared.

Nope! Even if the winners stayed and the losing side were to accumulate score 10 times faster, then the timer also appears. Edited by DiSoRderLY

That would be sabotage. People work for their own victory not the enemy's, you fool!

 

To be honest, you'd need to make a super computer or you'd need an active human being to control the game's length to make it all right. It would be easier if we just had flag limits back in the normal battles as well and make it so that you should have both the time limit and the flag limit, meaning that whichever goes by first will end the game. This means that games would end quicker WITHOUT the timer active. Also meaning no complex timer system would need to be implemented to solve this kind of bull.

 

Also, if you battle normally with 1 v 2 in CTF battle and the player that is alone gets killed, the timer will automatically activate. This sucks, as you never know if the player on their own could or could not win actually. Actually scratch that, quick battles, constantly getting crystals from fund as the battle ends so early is just perfect. No need to fight in a battle where you might later leave. Just wait till the round ends, as it's small and get your fund. Priceless! :D

Well yes this update needs lots of tweaks.

Many a times I am left alone with no one on the opposite sides yet the special timer does not appear. Yet again when the losing side might have just got stronger the special timer appears in our favour.
