Subject updated.

New subject: Nations controlling the world(--> USA). Bad or good? Do they "deserve" it? Are they influencing other nations's political decision too much? Would everyone on earth be able to say what he really thinks about the USA, without risking to lose their (good) reputation, liberty and/or live, if no, how to change that fact?

Bad

Never , they exploit the world for their own benefit

Yez , they should mind their own business and not go after oil and money and power

Remove their domination from United Nationz + show them that all countries are equal

I rest my case here

:)

BAD

USA is doing all of this to hang onto their world power they dont china & russia to team as they're the only nations who stands in their way

& they start wars in the middle east to get oil while saving up their oil resovirs in alaska so when the world runs out if oil they could be the monoply of the oil market

basically they own the UN cuz they dont allow russia or china to use their veto powers & NATO which was established during the cold war to compete against  WARSAW(russian)

lets hope that BRIC(brazil, russia.india, china) will end this madness

I don't believe you have the authority to produce such actions. (e.g. "close" the topic)

A 12 year old is standing there with a BB gun and gets shot and killed  Is that a criminal offense?

Kinda irrelevant from the main subject at hand (U.S. good or bad?).

If China is viewed as a nation that stands in America's way, why is it that the majority of their international trading is with China itself?

Being an American myself, it's obvious that at times the rest of the world views us as the 'bad guys'. The truth is I can't blame them. The main reason the U.S. still views itself as the dominant superpower in the world, derives from its "superior" military. Take a look at us and it's no wonder why we're in major debt; because a vast majority of the taxpayer money goes into military-based technology funding. We may not deserve the power we currently have in the world, but that's what you get when you use brute force to intimidate and show other countries how much more "advanced" and "superior" we are to them... at least when pertaining to the military.

It looks kinda weird as the post I was replying to got deleted :P And since my Quote button is broke.....

I don't believe America should be nosy in other countries business: don't you think they can take care of it themselves? Only come when needed

Ofc the domination of US in the UN is mighty... before there were 2 superpowers the soviet union and US, but after the breakdown of the USSR it seems that the US is the only country which at present can define the fates of other nations...

they need each other cuz USA buys imported goods from china while china reinvests money in the USA

& USA should not interfere  with internal problems of other countries

It's a very funny fact that teachers in your school don't explain you guys more about it, and that you don't go deeper into that subject.

The world cares so much about that because it hurt the freedom of speech.

Well, this just raises a few more questions one of them which is- What happened to hurting freedom of speech when Israel attacked Palestine's news agency?

Agreed. But in Belgium, 1 month ago, some people died, and we didn't talk about it at all. Charlie Hebdo became famous because it hurt the freedom of speech.

Google "Charlie Hebdo" and look at the pics. Is that the "freedom of speech"!? If you have such freedom, that doesn't mean you can say whatever you want.

You should do some in-depth analysis of "Freedom of Speech".

^ Always see this happening. Apparently, any topic can be derailed to bring up the palestinian 'cause'.

People have the freedom of speech, and we can't take it away from anybody, but till a point. If I have the freedom of speech, that means I can insult whoever I want and nobody can stop me, but I don't, because it's not ethnic.

Hmm, you're right. Always creates a messy situation.

Depends on  the law of the country.

You didn't understand what I was saying. I meant if you are allowed to do something that's not ethic, that doesn't mean you can do it. There are some rules come before the laws.

Why did we go back to the first subject, although the discussion of it had already officially ended?

That's not a problem, don't worry ;)
