So,

I have an Idea for a new battle statistic to be displayed on the tab screen.

When you press tab, you will see the battle statistics as normal. But right next to D/L will be a number like 5.31, meaning that this player has been playing for five minutes and thirty one seconds. There is a number like this next to all the players in the game.

If someone plays a game for three hours strait, getting ten points every minute, he will look like he is a good player, even though ten points a minute is terrible. But if someone has been playing for 5 minutes, but has 200 points you can tell he is good. This would be the most useful battle statistic for telling if someone is good at the game.

Having a good D/L can just mean that you are a shaft hiding in a corner completely full of mines and camping, only getting kills rarely. It doesn't necessarily mean that you are a good player. And if you have a high score could mean that you have just been playing for a really long time, but doing very terribly. But with the clock, you can tell if they are good or not, by comparing their score to their time playing.

The clock would stop for players changing equipment or on pause. You could tell if people are on pause if their clock isn't ticking when you press tab, another useful feature.

This feature would also help recognize mults, or inactives. If someone's clock has been going for ten minutes, but their score is still zero, then they are almost definitely a mult. People in the battle could know of a surety that the player is a mult, and could use the /vote command. Also, a function could be entered into the game making it so that if someone has been playing for ten minutes, but has zero score they are automatically kicked out. Obviously this wouldn't apply to the parkour format, and it is not needed since you can be kicked out for inactivity anyway.

This idea would be useful for those curious about how long they have been playing a battle, you often lose track of time.

It could cause some lagging issues, I don't know.

What do you think about this idea?

This is quite interesting, and it's a really good idea. This could help greatly in detecting mults, it's a good and neat idea.

Yes I agree it could be a massive help in detecting mults / Gold sitters.

Simple and brilliant at the same time!

Really like the idea. And I suppose the obtained info/data is not only usable for other players

but could also be useful for further game development, kick-systems etc.

Even if it 's only usable for other players I think it 's already worth it.

A great tool to identify mults for one like @lordmostafa already said.

Love this idea. I am not a gold sitter, but with this I could ask whoever has been there longest if gold has dropped. Don't get me wrong, I don't play just for the gold, I also help out my team, but at least I would now how long it has been since last gold.
