lol players were asking me about this kinda event, I also mentioned a few times that I'll make something like this. So now I do it to see what will happen. over sized ego? nah my purpose is to improve the level of parkour in our community and make parkour fighting popular, not to become popular myself just for the popularity. To be honest, I don't really like being famous, never liked it in any game I played. But I do like seeing the effect of my efforts. And don't be surprised if the event will not be a really good one, because it's the first time I do such a thing, gotta try it once or twice before I'll be sure I know how to do it properly.

 

Really sorry if what I do always looks like something else but I'm a weird person that expects people to understand his way of thinking, sometimes too much...

Ok, firstly, it was a joke, so that downvote... *ouch* just... *ouch*

 

Secondly, since you've now said something I feel the legitimate need to respond to, I'd like to point it out. If you don't like being famous, then that would implicate that you'd like to go out of your so as to avoid it. Though here you've just started a topic drawing attention to yourself. It doesn't really matter I suppose, but just since you pointed it out.

I need to get knowing the community and know what my fans like the most and what they need help with. This is important information to decide what to do next and to understand how to get everyone's attention to show everyone what I want to show them. It also helps me to understand what are the easiest ways for players to learn stuff.

:) I think that this topic is not for Swift's Ego ... But the word "fans" well ok ... Anyway this topic may help a lot of parkourists to play with a good parkourist and to do real tricks .

Actually I made it for my fans, because a lot of them were PMing me and asking to play with me. Some of them even asked if I'll make a fans meeting event.

 

I will make other events too, but this particular event is for my fans. :)

And even though I don't like fans spam and many of the fans are newbies, there still might be some really good parkourists that will come to this event, so it might be a good way to meet new friends.

I wouldn't say I'm a "fan", but I might have been interested at showing up. Though the thought of being generalized as a fan... might be a turn off.

 

I couldn't see a reason for you to separate your "fans", and any other player who would be interested in showing up. Additionally, at some point you might find that while many "fans" are interested, few will have time, and suddenly only two people show up to your event. So I would concur with @delnina2's suggestion. I think you ought to change the title to something that makes all players feel welcome to come to you and parkour, some of which may want to parkour for fun, rather than be babied around. This could additionally lead to easier management of your event, as some more experience parkourists would arrive, hopefully willing to help out. If your true intention is to help less skilled parkourists, you should begin to attempt to recruit other skilled parkourists to work with you.

I want to help other players too and I would love to work with other experienced parkourists, but in this particular event I want to meet better my fans. As I mentioned before, I will make more events like this. I already have a list of events I might make later.

I just watched a ton of SwiftSmokey's videos, and they are amazing. Definitely someone to really enjoy watching and working with, no matter what level you work at in parkour. I'd be more than happy to be working with someone like Swift! (Though still a little shifty on the "fan" thing.)

You need to value random players a little bit more :P I once jumped off a good position in a battle when I had 0 deaths and a lot of kills and followed a low ranked player that wanted me to make a ramp for him to climb something, when he showed me where he wants to go I said it's impossible to make a ramp to there because I can't lean on it because of the drop between us and this thing. Then he showed me something awesome, without him I would think about it at least a year later. ;)
