Polygon Map

Tanki for CP, the Polygon map is good but its so overcrowded and has little space. CP players normally use vikings and Mammoths to win. They take up to much space and trying to land into the proper area sometimes causes you to flip. If you cannot resize the map in anyway, then here is an idea for Polygon CP only:

A: that blue trailer box should be removed.

B & D: The ramp should have the same size as the ramp which is marked by a C.

E & H: They mark the opposite ramp from B & D, they should be reduced in size to wear the exploded hornet is near the arrow.

F & G: These indicate that ramp that leads to that garage. Not exactly fair in my opinion, and if you guys want to keep it please make it so that tanks that are as wide as Hunter can fit in there. and make a height limit to, again same size as Hunter, otherwise for CP ONLY, take that part out of the map.

 

Also i have got to bring this to attention. See how the Blue team lost? It was because the red team was using at least 4 isidas, and 2 Thunders and 2 Railguns. That may seem okay, but since they were mostly M3, they werent easy to defeat especially since they were drugging. They had a mammoth and a couple vikings and a dictator, which took up that whole square and we couldnt reach the center because they either flipped us or made us unable to drive by driving while we were on top of them.

 

So my suggestion is to have a limited amount of certain equipment in Team battles. 2 isidas is enough, 2 freezes, 1 firebird, 2 thunders, 1 hammer, 1 shaft, 3 smokys...

 

Also Freeze needs a little bit of a rework, Isida M3 is to powerful for Freeze M3, It has longer range and a rotation speed that allows it to keep up. It can also self heal. So why not disable the Isidas healing ability if they are facing a freeze, and for thunders, if they are using mammoths, the splash damage they take in should be double the damage to them.

1. If the ramps are reduced in size, then there is a less chance of flipping and accidental collisions with walls.

(Making it easier for campers.)

 

2. Tanki maps are designed so that all tanks can access all areas that are meant to be accessed. (Obviously, there are ledges that only Hornet or Wasp can use, but I'm talking about easily accessible areas.)

 

3. Red team wins. It happens. They used combos that helped them win, and IMO, that's good strategy.

 

4. They might add options to create battles that limit your combos of choice, but it's for all maps, not just Polygon.

 

5. Disable healing for Isida? Are you listening to yourself? Alter the only Medic in the game just to make you happy? All the Isida users would be raving mad, it's the Isida's best defense. Besides, if you use Freeze, just spin around them, they can't aim at you then.

 

6. Double the splash damage to Thunder? It's already at the limit, even though I use Mammoth M2 I still kill myself 1/4 of the time.

Those ramps extend to far... Havent you noticed, in battles with people who are ranked like Field Marshal and up, they have MU, and very good equipment and being slow isnt an option if you wanna win. Using hunter, viking and hornet is one of the only ways you can win. Remember strength and speed isnt everything.

If you havent noticed, red team almost always wins in almost every map, because they have the most advantages. Take it from silence for example, its simple for them to get flags and maintain points because all they have to do is jump down, as the quickest way down and their teammates may already be there waiting for them in case they lose the flag, or need health. Then there is noise, they have control over  basically all the supplies even though most of them are located near the blue base, but thats because they are on higher ground.

Ya think i havent tried that? It doesnt work, isidas are almost always combined with viking and they usually have good paints like jaguar, or inferno. Spinning isnt exactly easy because the keyboard may not respond to so many requests at once, thats like 4 different keys you will be using at the same time. Bro, thunder has extreme knockback, and extreme damage, you use thunder and mammoth so of course you have a problem with my request. I use thunder and i like what it can do, but what you are experiencing may not be what the opponent is facing. Also i meant for titan, dictator, and mammoth not just mammoth, sorry about that.

That's my opinion

 

1. Of course strength and speed isn't everything, but campers who sit there have less room to maneuver with the ramps being extended like that.

 

2. Yeah....but trying to get that little garage, (if that's what you call it) changed so that only certain Hulls can enter? IMO, it's already a death-trap, being that the camera view isn't so good.

 

3. Red team almost always wins? Are you in every battle that happens on every server? Maybe you think that in your frustration, but I've won plenty of times on Blue team. (On Silence as well as in Noise.) And in Silence, The Blue team has the advantage of height, and the ability to quickly take flags. On Noise, it's basically the same thing, but the teams are switched, and there is only three ways in and out of Blue teams' base, making it harder to take the flag from good defense.

5. Even if you are suggesting it for just Freeze, Isida users would still be mad. Not to mention the programming nightmares.

 

6. Ok, I fight those Combos everyday, I use all those Hulls as well, and I still think that having double the splash damage is B.A.D. (Bad And Dangerous.)

 

It STILL is my opinion.

polygon is also famous for DM's 

that garage can be used to cap a point while defending ourselves

if your suggesting to limit the amount of turrets s it also should be done to all the other maps too

isida is OP dev's should decrease the self healing

The Isida is the least powerful of the 3 close-range weapons, having a self-heal is the best defense it has. Removing it or decreasing it would make Isida users rage quit Tanki. I know I would.

Why would a Thunder be fighting an Isida at close range unless ambushed? (More power to the Isida user. :))

Isida is vulnerable to Thunder at long range.

have anyone noticed a patter on arun's ideas?

they only benefit him not the rest of us,,,,, he wants more space : why? because he gets flipped easy...

@arun its not our problem that you are always flipping or fighting for a good spot on polygon cp not every player has viking and mamoth

i've won those kind of matches with only hornets and wasps against random tanks...

Use wasps and hide in that spot I use isida m2 and hornet m2 and used to sit inside and then do self healing and then come out to control the points again :D

 

More point sand ya u r right the person u r mentioning has a lot of exp and skillz

Why excuse me... have you faced the M3 model son? Bro you must be dreaming, Isida M2 can not keep up but M3 is like a Vampire just hunting you. Why didnt they call it Vamp or Vamp charger?

I have faced the M3 model, and it is still vulnerable to Ricochet M3, Thunder M3, Railgun M3.......at long range, of course. ;)

you and your little non-sense ''suggestions'' wont be applied to tanki because all they do is fit you into your own nooby gameplay!

why would we want more space that we got? isn't that enough for you to play? if so i would like the island map to be as huge as berlin because its boring to be in a little map

can you see that my example? it only benefits me, im sure i can play in berlin

Polygon Is A Map Which Offers Full Diversity And Has been At It's Best In CP Mode .
And The Weapon Limit Is Not Acceptible .
If You're Team Is Having Right Equipments + Good Team Work = You Can Win .....
And There Are More Different Maps Than Polygon From Small To Enlarged Maps .......
Choose Your Right Playstyle And Go To A Map That Suits You .........
Polygon Is Perfectly Alright After The Self - Destruct Barriers Came ......

Think about the idea of isida... its more of a team weapon. It can cool off a friendly tank, or melt the freeze off them, it also heals the friendly tank. Its beam has a different auto-aim feature from what the other turrets have. The beam can go in the direction the turret isnt even pointing at. Although the aim has to be precise.
