Drop chance of Gold Box

I don't like gold boxes.  I'd rather have them removed and the extra crystals they would have given distributed evenly in the battle fund.  They bring out the worst in people, favor lighter more mobile turrets, invite hacks and mults, and some people openly afk waiting for them.  But that won't ever happen and the community seems to love them, so the next best solution would be this:

 

Just make it directly proportional to the battle fund.

I agree with you and because of that people cannot capture it mostly. I think it should reduce to 1/3500

Just make it directly proportional to the battle fund. If the fund at low ranks is 10 times less, then make the gold box 100 crystals, but make it fall with a 1/700 chance. When the fund increases faster on higher ranks make it 500 crystals and 1/3500 chance.

I am really either bad at gold box hunting or very unlucky.

I am a WO5 and i ve caught only 2 gold boxes so far in 1 year.

I do agree with the thread that the chances of falling of gold box has been reduced tremendously. I would play for 3 hours 4 hours still not even a siggn of gold will be dropped soon.

Making the gold fall directly propertional to the fund will be a good idea. In this way more than one player would get the chance tto get the gold boxes.

That was what I was thinking! If it was 1/7000, gold should have dropped atleast once till the fund reached 7000, right?

Hey guys when crystal boxes got added to the fund instead of dropping, it didn't change the probability. The probability is still 1/7k. But there's a chance of gold when the battle fund goes up. There can be more gold now because the boxes get added to the fund, thus making a higher draw number. See my topic in gameplay, Beginner's Guide to When Gold Drops. Also guys, admin have nothing to do with gold, and chat has nothing either. People blurting out random things just annoys the admin. If  you have questions, send me a PM.

No because the gold is dropping less. crys added to the battle fund wont do 1/3000 difference. and in a v log they said that as they remove the crystal box the gold will drop more.

Oh! To be honest, I don't like gold boxes at all. They cause a disturbance in the game, teammates going against you, mults and hackers, whenever a gold drops, you should like a madman in your house, disturbing your family :P And your hands begin to start sweating and shaking, but when you get it, then you know what, a glass placed near your mouth could break :P
