Drugs should have side effects

In my opinion smart cool downs have made gameplay a lot better, however druggers still can take over very easily mostly because some of the are just so darn OP. The health pack can take 4 rail shots while using it, ur basically invincible for a short period.Double power just make weapons like rail unfair because they can one shot u too easily. The solution is to have side effects of these drugs, like real drugs would have.

For example

Double health would give twice more health but add 25% more weight and decrease speed of your tank by 25%.

Health pack should heal  at a slow rate like 10 HP per sec.

Double damage will still give you double damage but slow down the reload by 10 % and increase recoil by 10%.

Mines are currently perfect

 

 

 

Or another solution is just to nerf  the health pack  a little bit

Absolutely NOT!

 

 

1. I think that Double Armor is OK, why would you decrease the speed? I use it to get away from players and to last longer, so doing that would ruin the supply.

 

2. What is the point of Repair Kits if you lose health until you die after you use them?? You tell me that!!!!!

 

3. Double Damage slowing the reload time and increasing the recoil? Sounds like you are frustrated at those Railguns and you want payback.

 

4. Yes, mines are perfect, the only thing I agree on. :mellow:

 

5. Speed decreasing health??? Nobody would use it if that's the case, CTF would become so hard.

 

The Supplies are balanced as is, IMO, this topic is basically a complaint. -_-

Heal drug should be deleted!! (Just spoils game) Speed should be double or triple in my opinion(that makes it so hard to use, but that gives more meaning)

Heal drug doesn't need to be deleted.

Just balanced. It's not balanced per se when the user is already on other drugs. It's overpowered.

 

But I think if you nerf it then drugger/buyers will become angry. Lol. So it might not be likely that it will be balanced unfortunately.

Without smart cooldowns, that way could solute drug problem.

 

Without any heal, they will die anyway. Double power can not save you from death, even double armor. Just heal survive you and that makes it overpowered.

 

 

They will die, so they will lose time. That means, that won't be effective like that.They will die, so they will need more drug and lots of player won't able to get it, and drugger numbers will be decreased. By the way, they won't able to get flag or position with heal, because double armor is not enough against crowded team, so they will have to be team.

 

Generally players attack to drugers. Without heal, druggers can not survive against armies.

 

Believe me, that can solute everythink without smart cooldown.

All I got from it was apparently you saying my proposition could work without smart cooldowns. And then something about druggers dying anyways. ..

Sometimes I have to enter and exit 8 to 10 battles to find the right one for me.

Always join the winning side by the way. :D

I end up spending more time looking for a game to play then playing :(

In my opinion healths pack and double armour combo is to OP, imagine this a drugger with a double armour comes to my base takes the flag and runs away meanwhile my entire team is shooting at him then he puts on healths pack and thats end of story, he turns into godmode and caps the flag game over.

I don't have the energy to address this concept as a whole right now, but I'll point out two key issues.

 

Firstly, you never addressed how long the side affects of the health pack will last? Is it the time it takes for it to finish cooling down?

 

Secondly, nothing can ever be perfect, so in truth, mines are technically far from it.

its a problem not a complaint, druggers ruin games easily, everyone can drug not all want its just few platers which want to play hero which drug.seeing how u like drugs i assume ur one of them.

perfection is not possible, in the sense of being perfect. 

perfection lies within imperfection. for instance, this girl i know is perfect BECAUSE of her imperfections. 

that is the imperfectness of being perfect. perfection is what you believe it is. it has no set boundaries. have you ever heard the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"? same idea. perfection lies within your mind's eye. perfection is not the act of being perfect. I believe mines are perfect therefor to me they are, however to you they are not that doesn't make em not perfect no one can set a perfection standard only a good standard.

I think he just means that Mines looks "perfect" to him, in his point of view.

MarineMan was looking at it as if AstalaVista was saying how Mine was all-around perfect. But everybody knows that nothing is perfect.

At least that's how I understood it. . . .But yeah, so many "perfects." Lol. :D

Health packs are mostly used when in heated situations, so decreasing the healing speed will greatly nerf it. Too greatly. And what if you accidentally picked up a box and got some un-wanted side-effects?

Actually mines are the most perfect supply because they don't alter the behavior of the user's tank or turret, and, generally if you are careful you can avoid them.

 

I do agree with some points - if you are using double armor it should slow you down due to the benefit of doubling your armor.

 

Double power makes sense if it slows down reload.

 

If you use double speed it should reduce your armor and decrease your turret's power.

 

As it is now drugs are all 100% benefit without any negative consequences - with some negative consequence to each one it would make using them more about strategy than simply by pressing keys as fast as the game allows.

try pro battle if you dont like drug.

 

if drug can't give advantage, why do we drug.

Just what I think. Supplies are meant to give the user an advantage in battle, and these ideas will take away most of the advantage, making supplies pretty much useless.

You said it yourself a shot period of time, and that time is only 2 sec, not much at all.

 

 That means you would have to put on Nitro, and even then you are only at your hulls normal speed.

 

What?!  The original health pack healed faster then that, it healed at 15 HP per sec and thats when Mammoth had 200 HP now it has 380 HP. If it only healed 10 HP per sec id would take a M3 Mammoth 38 sec to fully heal.  -_- 

 

That just sounds like you want to get back at Railguns.
