I have come across many battles where you first start winning then someone with hammer comes into the game and starts destroying everyone why? Because nobody can stop a hammer m2 or m3 without 3 or 4 people drugging on them just to stop that one person. But after you add the protections you can give it back to the people that had it at the specific modification before you removed it from the game. I would like to hear what you guys got to say to this.

Every player who has the Hammer M3-What will happen to them? Will they be refunded? Will they get the Turret back in their garage with all the MUs and modifications they paid for?

After removing it....do you think things will be better? They will just go back to their old combo, and you'll still have problems.

I see complaints about Railgun, Thunder, Ricochet, ect. about as much as I see complaints about Hammer.

 

Why would the Developers remove a gun that a majority of players wanted and saved up for? I certainly wouldn't introduce a gun that I would remove right away, it just doesn't make any sense.

 

Also, would you have told the eager players that the gun was ready, only to tell them it won't be released until they developed another Turret? And protective paints for both weapons?? That is bad marketing, IMO.

 

(E.G. Cars were invented before safety equipment. They wouldn't have developed it, and then spent even more money developing safety equipment, they would have run out of money, same thing would happen with Tanki. They need money to develop the game for all of us.)

 

So about your problem, I would do either of these 4 things:

 

Temporarily quit Tanki, until they release the protective paints.

 

Use XP/BP mode.

 

Use Hammer yourself. (if you don't have M3, I understand.)

 

Use a long-range Turret, they are particularly strong against ALL short-range weapons. Trying to fight a Hammer at close range isn't smart.
